Which one of these ports (or all!) are beautiful sail in/outs?
As by naturelovergirl definitely Flåm - Cruising Sognefjord and Aurlandsfjord on your way into Flåm early in the morning - you must be at the upper deck at 4:00 am - sailing the same way out - but often during dinner time. The scenery in video below

Also in Flåm you can take a Boat trip to the UNESCO heritage fjord - 'Nærøyfjord' - in addition to the train.
In Stavanger you can take a boat trip to the 25-mile-long glacial fjord 'Lysefjord'
Sure:

Sailing fjords april 22 through may 2. Will port excursions be closed? How cold should I plan for? I know I'll need rain gear; what else?
Which ports and how far north?

Personally I would buy a local SIM card for my mobile when arriving to Europe and then share the phone WiFi with the other users. No need for a portable device.
the solution will only work when ashore anyway.

It’s absolutely possible to walk the 2 miles to the top + 45 to 60 minutes walk.
- recommend to buy tickets for Fløibanen online at www.floyen.no in advance at. A reduced rate. Choose the direction Either from City station to Top station or the opposite direction. Remember to choose the right date and for correct number of persons. It is not possible to book for a spesific depature time. However, when there are many guests the funicular runs continuously. You can also use the app “Fløibanen” and buy tickets, but only if you are travelling the same day as you buy the tickets.
In the app you can also find information about the next depature to Mount Fløyen.

I did the park In the morning and the village in the afternoon - both highly recommendable.
- number of visitors to the village is very limited - book the tour well in advance it will be sold out.

Thank you for the clarification.
My recommendation for a day in Aarhus is ‘Den Gamle By‘ open air museum.
For your reference also a Link to Gammel Estrup Castle.
Gammel/Gamle is ‘Old’ in Danish.
I can recommend to purchase the Aarhus Card and use the HoHo bus to get around.
Entrance to Den Gamle By and HoHo bus included. Can be bought online.

Your question is not that specific - do you plan for a ship excursion? - which ship and departure time from Aarhus?
Anyway - if tour is 5 hours starting at 9:45 AM you'll be back at the ship 2:45 pm - depending on departure time you might be able to have a short walk in town - it's a 10 minutes walk from the pier.
In general a more detailed question will provide more detailed and accurate answers.

On our previous trips with other lines there has always been an active role call but I've not yet been able to find one time time around.
Very little activities on Hurtigruten Roll Call - not many Hurtigruten cruisers at CC.
You’ll get better responses in this forum.

Does anyone know how to get past this or if this is an issue?
I have booked at the .no page with no problems. However in Europe geoblocking is banned - might be that Hurtigruten is using geoblocking outside Europe.
Try to contact booking@hurtigruten.com and make you reservation in NOK by email - then they can provide a link for payment.

1/2 a day in Skjolden in August from cruise ship. Any advice on what to do as we have someone with walking difficulties with us?
Loen Skylift is a good option - there is a shuttle from the pier.

If 442 and 450 in the quote are the cabin numbers, then it seems to be the same category (cabins on the same deck, just a couple of doors apart and seem to be the same size).
You are right same Cabin Class - difference in price from .com to .no pages.

The price difference is crazy, particularly if the price in NOK includes the flight and the price in $ does not (or maybe it's not US$ ?
Two different cabin categories- however in general prices in NOK are much more favorable than in other currencies - I have observed 30% price differences on the exact same product.

We are going to the Fjellheisen Cable Car when we visit Tromso at the end of this month, is it worth prebooking the tickets? Does this avoid queues - would there be a large queue to purchase tickets anyway?
No need for purchasing tickets in advance - however you will avoid a potential queue at the ticket counter.
The Cable Car has a capacity of 400 passengers per hour.
You can book tickets at this link

All taxis does accept credit cards. You can ask before you enter the taxi and if problems take the next in line - I’m alway paying with credit card.

... although after a fifteen day cruise, I am not sure if that will be necessary.
Then you might consider Tivoli Food Hall (entrance to Tivoli Gardens not required) it’s a casual place with several food stalls - Link to Tivoli Food Hall
Only 10 minutes walk from Marriott Copenhagen.

Might very well be because the answer will depend on your nationality. Different countries and very well different visa requirements for different nationalities.
All nationalities need a Visa for Madagascar- can be obtained at arrival - I do not need a visa for the other destinations - try to search Google for Visa and the individual destinations.
-
Most restaurants in Copenhagen are open Sunday.
If you plan to visit Tivoli Garden you can find many restaurants here
My suggestions are:
Brdr Price - Nimb Brasserie or Gemyse
In the city I can recommend:
Brdr Price, Rosenborggade 15
Aamanns 1921, Niels Hemmingsens Gade 19-21
Or let us know at which hotel you're staying - the I can suggest a restaurant in walking distance from the hotel.

Depending on itinerary the ship will be close to shores most of the time, especially when sailing in the Fjords. So you will be able to connect to land based phone transmission masts.
I have no experience with SIM for calls to US - only roaming within Europe.

We have Global Entry and TSA-PreCheck but I guess that's of no help in the Reykjavik airport in order to speed up the clearance process.
Correct - will not help you at KEF.
it’s a small airport an driving from Reykjavík should not exceed 60 minutes.
Assuming you can be off the ship before 8 am you should have no problems making an 10:55 am flight - check in does close 45 minutes prior to departure.

but I wondered if the range was known
Many different providers and different phone transmitter masts - also believe range is weather dependent.

Just make sure you’re at the deck early in the morning - it’s an 4 hours sailing through the Fjords.
Also don’t miss the Seven Sisters Waterfall at port side just before you reach Geiranger.
