  1. It's only a problem if the OP is planning on "sharing" with passangers in the other Cabin. If not then no rules are being broken and Carnival will have no issue.

    No they aren't. The guys drink and want cheers because they drink and cheers is a better deal, the woman might drink one a day so they will purchase it on s&s.

  2. Looking at that pic, she had to be somewhat limber to get herself up there. No way could I get myself up there or even turn my back to the sea. If she was drunk, I think she lost her balance. But I'm thinking if she were drunk how did she get herself up there?:confused:

    I can see it but at 37 I can still do cartwheels, lol. I'm sure she stepped on the light thing, then kneeled on the white rail and then hoisted herself up.

  3. I would think that she was bunking with some of her friends. LIke you, I'm wondering what she was doing. What were her friends thinking that they waited til noon to report her missing? Maybe they thought she'd eventually show up. Like you, I think that passing judgement is not good.

    I said the same thing. I'm assuming her friends were sleeping it off and realized she was missing. I'd hate to think she had hooked up w someone.

  4. Not sure if it's been reported here but daily mail has a report that states she was sitting on the railing and fell backwards. Horribly sad, she leaves four kids and a husband. As a parent I understand the need to get away and let loose but this is prime example why people should stick together. I would've hoped someone was sober enough to tell her that was a bad idea.

  5. Vista II will go to Miami;

    Vista I will go to Galveston;

    Breeze will go to Port Canaveral;

    Magic will go to New Orleans;

    Dream will go to Fort Lauderdale;

    One of the Conquest ships will move to the West Coast via the new larger Panama Canal.

    Just my predictions.

    Vista 2 will go to galveston. Just like the magic.

  6. You need 12,500 points for $100 OBC. You're better off charging something from Carnival for $100 and erasing the purchase from your bill.

    This! I use it as my work expense account and in this year alone I'm about to take $200 off my bill and if I charge cheers for two by the time I cruise I'll probably have $400 off. Everything goes to the card and it gets pd, I just bought new swimsuits from Macy's for triple the points.

  7. What might help put your mind at rest is that the speed limits in Cozumel are pretty darn low....20mph (30kph) in towns, 30 mphh (50kph) on the open road and the traffic is stop and go in town and not much better on the open road. Most accidents in Cozumel are off-road related, involve novice drivers of scooters and motorbikes (yeh, all the trippy Tourists). Seat belts are pretty non-existant. Besides the time spent in a car is minimal, so your little one shouldn't get restless sitting between two adults and shouldn't be squirming or trying to get up down and sideways.

    And, though it won't relieve your anxiety, probably, remember generations of us never sat in a car seat, wore a seat belt, or sat in the back seat for our entire up-bringing and we survived.

    I've ridden in many a taxi in Cozumel and they all ignored the speed limit by 20mph, at least.
