I'm the last thing from high maintenance but I can barely be in the room w my husband and 10 year old. 4 women, no way.

Wow, we easily spend that on a 7 day cruise. We drink but aren't lushes, I do the special on the spa day, play the wheel of fortune a bit, and go the steakhouse, take DD to cherry on top, build a bear, and buy her a few trinkets to bring home. It adds up quick. As others have said, you can cash out at the casino.

We booked thru shoreexcursioneer.com because I was told by the resort they are no longer selling them there.
Thanks so much!

How can I book a day pass ? I've seen some people have just walked up and others had to book prior to arrival.
-
It's only a problem if the OP is planning on "sharing" with passangers in the other Cabin. If not then no rules are being broken and Carnival will have no issue.
No they aren't. The guys drink and want cheers because they drink and cheers is a better deal, the woman might drink one a day so they will purchase it on s&s.
-
We are cruising with a few other couples and some of the ladies don't drink. Can you put the guys in one too, purchase cheers online, then switch rooms while onboard? I'm just curious if the account and/or rooms are flagged.
-
Don't forget you pay tax online. In Texas our rate is 8.25% so I only save a few bucks ($18, I think) so I'll do gift cards and purchase on the ship.

What do you want to know? I mainly cruise out of Galveston.

Looking at that pic, she had to be somewhat limber to get herself up there. No way could I get myself up there or even turn my back to the sea. If she was drunk, I think she lost her balance. But I'm thinking if she were drunk how did she get herself up there?:confused:
I can see it but at 37 I can still do cartwheels, lol. I'm sure she stepped on the light thing, then kneeled on the white rail and then hoisted herself up.
-
I can't believe you just realized your pic comes up every swipe. Every purchase on board. Yes, this would be a logistical nightmare. You are better off decided on paying the friend a few bucks a drink.
-
I would think that she was bunking with some of her friends. LIke you, I'm wondering what she was doing. What were her friends thinking that they waited til noon to report her missing? Maybe they thought she'd eventually show up. Like you, I think that passing judgement is not good.
I said the same thing. I'm assuming her friends were sleeping it off and realized she was missing. I'd hate to think she had hooked up w someone.

And I don't know how to put a picture but she stepped on a light or speaker to get up there, it took effort to hoist herself, and the object was broke in the picture

My friends just got off and said no truth to the knife and the "blood" stain was a mixed drink.

Not sure if it's been reported here but daily mail has a report that states she was sitting on the railing and fell backwards. Horribly sad, she leaves four kids and a husband. As a parent I understand the need to get away and let loose but this is prime example why people should stick together. I would've hoped someone was sober enough to tell her that was a bad idea.

Always try to book between two decks of cabins

Vista II will go to Miami;
Vista I will go to Galveston;
Breeze will go to Port Canaveral;
Magic will go to New Orleans;
Dream will go to Fort Lauderdale;
One of the Conquest ships will move to the West Coast via the new larger Panama Canal.
Just my predictions.
Vista 2 will go to galveston. Just like the magic.

I agree, a simple no thank you is fine. In fact, I tell them I'm not interested in any products prior to my session and all is fine.

Top to toe is always offered and it's great. Usually $100 for facial and massage.
-
Past guest offers used to be great and now they are laughable, at best. I do get casino offers, nothing free yet, but it's the best deal I've ever had. DH and I both get them so we bring a couple friends w us and just switch once we are on board.
-
And this is why we'd never split up our family on an excursion. And why we are always back 30-45 early. I just don't understand how people can be that stupid.

You need 12,500 points for $100 OBC. You're better off charging something from Carnival for $100 and erasing the purchase from your bill.
This! I use it as my work expense account and in this year alone I'm about to take $200 off my bill and if I charge cheers for two by the time I cruise I'll probably have $400 off. Everything goes to the card and it gets pd, I just bought new swimsuits from Macy's for triple the points.

I remember when they were called H.E. Butts. always wished they would merge with Piggly Wiggly and call themselves Wiggly Butts.:D
Lololol! I love me some HEB and grew up with Piggly Wiggly!

What might help put your mind at rest is that the speed limits in Cozumel are pretty darn low....20mph (30kph) in towns, 30 mphh (50kph) on the open road and the traffic is stop and go in town and not much better on the open road. Most accidents in Cozumel are off-road related, involve novice drivers of scooters and motorbikes (yeh, all the trippy Tourists). Seat belts are pretty non-existant. Besides the time spent in a car is minimal, so your little one shouldn't get restless sitting between two adults and shouldn't be squirming or trying to get up down and sideways.
And, though it won't relieve your anxiety, probably, remember generations of us never sat in a car seat, wore a seat belt, or sat in the back seat for our entire up-bringing and we survived.
I've ridden in many a taxi in Cozumel and they all ignored the speed limit by 20mph, at least.
How much are photos on Carnival ships?

It will cover one of the smaller photos you take in ports or at the dinner table. 8x10s are $25, I believe.
