My daughter who teaches in Brooklyn just called to say that the school she teaches in is closed for students but the teachers have to report to work..

It was similiar in Brooklyn where one of my daughters teaches.

Yes,they are therapeutic .There is also dancing for PD ,tai chi and boxing .I did the latter two.

Sometime last year I posted a then current picture of myself and my granddog Beuk,a then current picture. Several months ago a person posting in the Floataway Lounge asked if I was male or female and I posted a picture there of a young Lenquixote66. I tried to also post it on this thread but for some reason I am unable to do so ,I have no idea why.

My son in law who hung out with the former Ranger player just texted me that where he is (5 minutes from me) it is the smell of campfires. I only slept in a tent once.I was working in a day camp in Staten Island . There was a sleepover outside in a tent in July and one in August.Everything was fine in July but in August I woke up to find a snake next to me.I lost my desire for tent sleeping after that.

Earlier today I auditioned for a Singing Group for people with Parkinson’s. I had to sing several songs by the Turtles,Beatles and other artists. The last time I sang in public was when I was in college.

TSOTD is from St. Kitts where my younger daughter eloped.Her husband called his mother but our daughter waited until the returned from her trip

My wife had a nail clipper ,not scissors in a pocketbook that was taken away.

TSOTD is the Bert Wills Band. They are a Southern Rock band from Texas.I have every album/CD they released in the 40 plus years since they formed. Bert has recorded and or appeared with every singer/band from Eric Clapton to ZZ Top. To date I have only met one person on the east coast who ever heard of the band and that guy is in a NY based band, The signature song for the Bert Wills Band is Pavonne Sunset which can be heard along with many others on YouTube.

When I was in my 20’s and 30’s I had shoulder length hair and a very long beard.I was always searched at border crossings.One time they found white powder in a plastic bag and drew their guns.I told them that it was coffee lightener.They did not believe me and I told them to taste it.They reluctantly did so ,found that it was what I said it was and did not apologize. Currently I have short white hair and a short white beard and weigh a lot more than I did in my younger days.No problem .

Thanks .My memory is a tad off at times.We took a Greyhound bud from Port Authorith to Montreal in 1969 and Amtrak from NY to Toronto in 1971 .

Our phones have a voice activation .We hear as well as see the numbers.We never answer and we have a generic voice mail message. Many people say something like you have reached John and Mary Smith.We are not home now.That is what the scammers want.

We get spam e-mails and spam phone calls every day.It was so much better before the internet age.

I still have many things that I bought in 1964 that still function including Binoculars and an electric shaver.

I found from personal experience that it can sometime depend on physical appearance.
