1. As far as I can see, Quest will do the following Caribbean itineraries in 2018:

    March 9 - March 19

    March 19 - March 28

    March 28 - April 7.

All Miami roundtrip, including stops in Cuba.

sorry but where did you get that info from - nothing showing on Az or any TA websites but that would make sense, that's what they did this year .

  2. It seems a bit strange that they gave us the choice of picking, wretched OR cold OR tasteless OR tough. Pick one.!!! it sounds to me like they are not easily pleased, in 7 cruises with Az we have never had anything but the odd problem which was dealt with in a courteous and speedy manner.

  3. we had 2 x cakes on a cruise in 2014 for 40th wedding anniversary and a birthday but nothing after that although witnessed others receive cakes and singing, don't think they paid, just knew more staff we think.

  4. On previous cruises we have had 40th wedding anniversary and also birthdays twice, no upgrades.... in fact they even dispensed with the card etc on the 2nd birthday and the same cruise after being told they don't do card and cake anymore we sat on the next table to a TA who got a cake and had happy birthday sang to her. very disappointing.

  5. still an excellent value in my book, especially the multi night discounts

not for us from the UK with the pound being an all time low against the dollar, very bad timing by azamara just as we vote to leave the EU. or was it good timing as far as Az are concerned. it now costs us approx. £47 per couple instead of approx. £34 per couple before Brexit and the price hike !!.

  6. mmmm I for one am one of those middle aged british people who wear beige trousers, amongst other colours. I do wear them with a nice shirt and consider myself reasonably smartly dressed when I go to dinner. I don't care whether denims or jeans cost 100 pounds or 10 pounds from the bargains shop, I prefer to wear proper trousers.slacks.chinos or whatever you want to call them !!!!!

  7. to qualify for reduced price flight then you must book a balcony or above so no benefits for anyone wishing to book inside or ocean view , the website is very confusing and none of the prices seem to match anything shown on uk ta websites at the moment.

  8. mmm coke zero - definitely not in the fridge but sometimes and I stress sometimes in the bars, one recent cruise with az I had the last can of coke zero on the ship on the very first day from the pool bar !!!!

  9. Yes, plenty of bottled water.

Here's a question that I should know (but don't) and I imagine someone on this board will know...couldn't one ask the Room Steward to replace the complimentary soda in the in-room refrigerator with complimentary club soda?

yep bonnie, the soda in the fridge is replaced whenever it is consumed.... totally gratis...free

  10. Bottled still water is available in your stateroom and will be replaced , also the same water is available at any bar around the ship at any time they are open.

  11. also when you click online check in at bottom of the page

    Online Check-in Summary:
Click "View Details" to view your Online Documentation Summary.

    Luggage Tag Information:
Azamara's ship luggage tag program provides you with luggage tags before leaving home.

    Request Luggage Tags
  12.
Not as of yesterday on the UK site, the only message says to print them off not to order them
when you log in online and also complete the online check in there are two places where you can click to order your luggage tags... at least there are on ours and obviously a lot of others on this thread.. we have just checked and the button is still there to click and order when you log in .
  13. we have ordered and received our luggage tags as usual for our cruise in October so I really dont know why Az or Mr Twynham or anyone else are telling people they are not available when they quite plainly are.
  14. We are Celebrity regulars and this is our first Azamara, on the Quest. I'm looking for some practical help, in particular.....

We are from the UK, what kind of electrical adaptors do we need?

Do Azamara supply a tote bag or do I need to bring my own?

The weather will be very hot. I understand that Azamara is less formal but what do ladies really wear in the dining room as a rule?

Anything you wish you had known for your first Azamara but didn't........all tips and hints most welcome!

    Thank you all

    Angie

    Hi

Your cabin will be equipped with both European and American style sockets above the dressing table. Also agree that you definitely get an Azamara tote bag. Cheryl wears everything from trousers with tops to simple dresses to the odd long dress (not ballroom style) for when she feels like getting a bit more dressed up. As Uktog states something that you would wear for an evening out at a restaurant without being OTT. Same for the gents, long trousers and collared shirt (short sleeved or long - doesnt matter) or polo shirt. Definitely no blue jeans or shorts in the mdr or speciality restaurants.

    have a good cruise
