  1. I did a little bit of a search but I have certain restrictions at work so I cannot tell if this link actually works. This is what I found.

Thanks for the restaurant tips. They both sound very good! I have tried the link for the webcam but cannot get it to work because I cannot find the video they mention. As usual you are a great help and much appreciated for your courtesy and knowledge.

  2. This is the forward view from 1004 on the Equinox. It is on the starboard side.

Forward view is partially blocked by bridge but outward, down, and aft views are great. It was very quiet but a long walk to the elevators which helped us walk off our meals.

  3. So, it should be "EPIC Carnival Fantasy Review with Pics/March 23, 2012 Sailing". Or is that too conceited? :o Not that I think the review itself is epic...but the trip itself sure will be.

Title sounds great, I'll be looking for it. Can you possibly do it "live" or do you want to spend the money on internet fees and/or take the time, after all, it is " your" vacation. I guess we can wait till you get back ...tick-tock, tick-tock ...lol.

After all you both have been through you deserve a wonderful vacation.:)

  4. One of the things I like about Celebrity is the food. The food is excellent in the MDR as well as the buffet. I have not even tried the speciality restaurants but I'm sure they are great as well. Everything is very laid back I guess because the crowd is a bit older, as most have said, but there is really a good mix of age groups. We always travel in Dec. before Christmas break so there are not many children at all.The S-class ships are beautiful and very well laid out- never seems crowded even when at capacity.Iknow you would enjoy their cruises very much so give them a try!:)

Wow, thank you so much! We've been really happy with RCCL, and are curious about Celebrity. CCL, I think I sail again if I found a really great price, or was traveling with extended family or friends. What are some of your favorite things about Celebrity?

Sailing in two months and I'm going to get an even better camera. I can't wait to post my Liberty review along with fantastic pictures.

Happy to report that I've finally finished, and I've earned my MBA. So excited, relieved, and happy. Thanks to everyone for their support here on CC :)

  5. Ship: Eclipse

    Cabin #: 8256

    Deck #: 8

    Class: 1A

    Area:starboard

    Bed near: Balcony

    Quiet?: Yes

Balcony view: Could not see forward

    Balcony size: triple

    Wind a problem?:no

    Soot a problem?:no

Problems/comments: Convenient location just off aft elevator bank ,third stateroom off the hump aft section. We heard no noise from the elevators. Could not see forward but could see all the way to the aft end of the ship. Looking directly down you could see lifeboats but no obstructions . Balcony was probably triple size.Left side exiting stateroom approx. 15 feet long and right side about 12 feet long with width same as most .Would choose stateroom again.

  6. Just a quick question. I started to read Rob's "How to" post on the video page of CC but have noticed that no further lessons have popped up... I am very eager to learn how you did the google earth portions of the cruise and where and how you used the animation of the ship. Has this moved elsewhere?

    thanks,

Go to you tube and search cleancruising. There are a lot of virtual videos of cruises to choose from on that site. Just found it by mistake!

  7. Jo & Rob and children.... As everyone has said, it has been a pleasure to go along with you and your lovely children on your cruise. My wife and I are booked on the Eclipse in Dec. and what a great preview of the ship from you and your family. Happy anniversary to you both and hope to see you on many more anniversary cruises in the future via Cruise Critic.

    Thanks, Bobby
