I love it! We will treat ourselves to Coffee, Cappuchino and Baileys every morning......that washes everything down!
You are too funny and thank you for the clarification. We now can look forward with glee to our sailing in May on The Divina
Hey, cruiseguys2009, can we expect another great review?

Thanks for the review and the great pictures which added so much. Have been looking for a Divina review and I'm glad I found yours. Happy sailing!

Whoa! Do you have a website to view your pictures??
You've given me some great ideas. We're always looking for different shots.
OP One thing that we really love about S class ships is that there is always somewhere to go (other than your own balcony) to just sit and be quiet and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The staff is very friendly and professional at the same time.
For some beautiful photos of the S-class ships( and many others) I suggest you go to the site of Andreas Depping. Here is a link to his photos of the Silhouette : http://www.depping-design.de/test/index.php?cat=22

We just returned from Silhouette Eastern Caribbean cruise and had cabin 9270. Our cabin steward "Sabi", I think short for Sebastian, was great ! The cabin is not right in front of the entrance to the Card Room and there are doors that open automatically as you near them. Never heard any noise at all from the corridor, atrium or card room. The stairs are on the opposite side of the elevators. Here are a few pics of the cabin and the balcony. We were traveling with friends who occupied cabins 9268, 9266, and 9264 and we had the partitions open between the 4 cabins! Any other questions just ask, and enjoy your cruise!

We were on the Jan 5, 2014 Eastern Caribbean sailing and were very pleased. This ship has the most friendly and accommodating staff we have encountered on any S-class ship (sailed on all except Solstice), and this includes the Captain who is very funny and interacts with the passengers through various activities. The only slight negative was our MDR wait staff which never really did get it together but did improve slightly toward the end of the trip. Overall a great ship!

Just returned from Eastern Caribbean Silhouette cruise and we were in cabin 9270,first off the hump forward , starboard , and our friends were in the three other forward on the slant (9268, 9266, 9264) and we had the partitions open between all the cabins on the forward slant and no problem with wind at all.

Great pic. How far from shore were you? We've noticed them in our area perching on highway light poles. We've started calling them road hawks. They wait for something to scoot across the road & then they bag it. They'll take roadkill as well.
Not sure how far ashore but the photo was taken on the last sea day, Jan. 11, on the 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise at 11:45 AM.

On board Silhouette yesterday for first cruise this season from Florida. As expected we had a bit of a delay due to inspections but it was only a half hour or so and did not effect check in, just waited after we were checked in. For those driving, we left from pier 25, park at mid port parking area, very well marked. I have sailed out of FLL a number of times but first time I drove in, it really was fairly easy. Drop off passengers and luggage first.
Cruise Critic party was this morning, first sea day at 10:30. I have had more active roll calls and have avoided them in the past occasionally due to a probem one time but this group was quiet but very nice. It was a little odd but the ship printed out name tags with our names on it, should have done it with screen names, nobody knew who to talk to, it was weird, every party I've every been to the name tags had CC screen names.
Any other questions ask, I'll try and answer and get back. One of the cuts which wife and I noticed is no more half and half at coffee stations, not a deal breaker but we do enjoy our coffee with half and half.
Can you tell us where the Cruise Critic Party was held? Thanks!

The construction delays on I-595 won't affect you on Sunday. It gets backed up during rush hour traffic during the week only. If you decide to take I-95 instead, get off at the FLL airport exit and follow the signs directly to Port Everglades.
I'll be disembarking on January 5th from the Silhouette New Year's cruise.
Thanks "cmagar", "SAMMYR", and "dkjretired" for the driving information !!

What is the best route into the port arriving by car from I-95 southbound. Will be arriving on Sunday Jan 5th and there are seven ships in port that day. I read that there was construction on the interstate leading in ,I-595, I believe, and someone suggested State Road 84. We're thinking about arriving around 11:00 AM . Thanks!

  what is the link to find out which ships are in port?
