We have an E2 cabin on deck 6 on the hump and wondered if deck 7 might be a better choice? What deck are the lifeboats on? Which side of the ship for a Southern Caribbean sailing out of San Juan visiting St Kitts, St Thomas, Aruba, and Curaco as far as view while sailing or while docked?

What is the cost for Park N Go? Thanks for your help!
Rates may vary depending on the time of year, we paid a little more during Thanksgiving weekend than we did in early January. We left a tote bag in one of their vans upon returning and didn't miss it until we unloaded at our home back in NC. We called the next day and they found the bag still in the van a day later. We asked if they could send it back to us and we would pay the postage since it was our fault ( we did not put it in the luggage racks but left it in the back of the van) and the manager sent it to us at no charge . Outstanding service!

hi could you tell me if centre piece band were still there in dazzles?
Many thanks :-)
yes, and they are great. We were there almost every night!
-
I have them but can't get them scanned in time! Any questions?

Never had a problem or charges using this plan:
Embarcation day-turn off phone and lock in cabin safe.
Debarcation day-take phone out of safe.
Happy Sailing!

I saw the periscope feed last night from Central Park, thanks!

Travellink---Travel Pass from Verizon is a brand new service (about one week old). You can only use it while at a port. Read my post #10. You cannot use it on the Allure while at sea. Is that what you meant?
Yes,that is what I meant. We got the same email. Thanks for posting it.

You can also just do as I do and as setsail does and just pay as you go. Calls on the ship are $1.79/min and texts are $0.50 and $0.05. Rates in port vary by port.
For us, we have found that this is the most cost effective way, and usually come home with less than $20 in additional charges.
You have to decide how much you will actually use your phone and then decide what is the best fit.
I think this is the plan that we decided to use. We just want to text friends that are onboard. The Travel pass is not available on Allure of the Seas .

What time did you arrive in Victoria ?

Thinking about a cabin on the forward hump deck 7. What are the +'s and -'s in your opinion?

If you are on the Nov 15th sailing and booked a B1 there were no senior discounts after Feb 18th of this year. If you booked a B2 the senior discounts if you booked this year were:
08/13/15-09/02/15-1115
09/02/15-09/03/15-1065
09/04/15-09/09/15-1035
09/17/15-10/03/15-848
From what I can research I think this is correct, but I could be wrong !

Has anyone seen a post of the dailies for Alaska aboard the Solstice for this year or could someone please post them if you have them? Thanks !
-
When we booked through an online agency the Solstice to Alaska next year and had all three perks, including free grats, we have Select dining which has to have grats paid upfront. It was explained to us that it will be credited at a later time.

Depending on what you paid initially you may be able to upgrade to an ocean view balcony ,for a little or no more, as the prices are pretty good right now. If you happen to be a senior as of today an ocean view balcony guarantee price is $907 , a D4 is $991, and a D5 is $998.

Check out the evening classical music performances in Central Park. The walking tour of Central Park led by the landscape specialist is very informative as well ! It was held day 2 and day 5 at 9:30 AM during our 7 day Caribbean cruise, just check your Cruise Compass.

Keep checking the RCI website especially near the final payment date as that's when you are likely to find cabins opening up. Doing a "dummy" booking you can see the available cabins but you can also put the cabin number in that you are looking at, as not all the cabins available show up on the list. I just did this for our booking , similar situation to yours, and got two cabins together when previously we were on opposite sides of the ship!

What makes you say it's a computer glitch? I'm booked on Allure Nov 2015 and it's listed as Nassau, Falmouth, Cozumel. Are you saying this is incorrect?
We are booked on the Nov 29,2015 Allure sailing and it listed Labadee when we booked, but now it says Nassau! It seems to change often !
-
Thanks again for another great review! Which beach or resort did you recommend in Cozumel? I can't remember which cruise review covered Cozumel... was it Allure? We are doing the Western on Allure in Nov. Thanks !

In post #264, love the last photo!

Bob,
Check out the deck plan. There are stairs on deck 11 and 12 on both sides - right next to the spiral staircase in the DL. On all other decks it´s a blank area.
But anyway, no, there are no public stairs but crew only.
steamboats
Thanks for the reply "steamboats"! The only reason I asked is that our cabin will be near those stairs and I wondered if we could use them( we have friends on the deck below) or if they were only for crew. Usually they don't show the crew stairs but I thought that maybe they were for the crew.
-
They are spiral and if you look at the deck 11 you will see them landing in the diamond club, the upper end going to deck 12, second floor of the DC
I see those ,but there are other stairs that are not spiral that look like they can be accessed from the hallways as well. Just curious!
-
I believe you are looking at the stairs between the two decks of the Diamond Club.
Those stairs appear to be a spiral staircase and these seem to be outside the Diamond Club.
-
Looking at the deck plans for Allure, is there another set of stairs just behind the aft stairwell from deck 12 to deck 11?
