  1. I looked at the Prima - I did find one Solo inside that connected to a "non-solo" inside. None of the other solo cabins seem to be connecting.
  2. As long as we can get two sides, I can eat very nicely from this menu 🙂
  3. I tried to get Carrot Cake to go from O'Sheehans while in a suite - I had the same basic experience . . .
  4. You can go to the buffet (or anywhere that they have drink stations) and use their glasses to refill your water bottles.
  5. I have a VPN and know that I can be shown as "in" different countries. I wonder if that could be the case here?
  6. We don't do the drinks package either. Don't know a lot about whether all in cabin need drinks package, but even if you are required to get the soft drinks package also that might be a savings over you having the regular drinks package?
  7. My Feb 2025 on the Prima had solo balconies sold out last week.
  8. I found solo balconies on the only two ships I checked (3 sail dates) - Getaway and Prima
  9. Dress code on sail away day is more relaxed because many won't have their bags yet. No short shorts, muscle shirts, flip flops.
  10. Thanks for the info on Taino Bay - A lazy river sounds perfect. Might do the cable cars on my own, then the lazy river!
  11. I didn't realize until today that NCLH shares held in my IRA would count as Shareholder OBC. 1) Is that correct - it can be held in my IRA? 2) Two of my next three cruises are as a solo in a solo balcony. Ready about shareholder OBC on nclhltd website, it says "Singles paying 200% are entitled to full onboard credit value." Any clue how much my credit would be sailing in a solo balcony on a 7 day cruise? It says "$100 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 7 to 14 Days." 3) I already purchased premium internet for both cruises, but could cancel and purchase on board to use up my credit. I have purchased excursions for one of the cruises but could follow the CC advice to cancel at the shore excursion desk and then repurchase. I do have the FAS $50 excursion credit for both cruises. I understand that this is non-refundable and can't be used for daily service charge, CruiseNext, or gambling (although I did read mixed reviews on Bingo - but I think Bingo has been overpriced) Any other tips? Thanks!
  12. Thanks! I was reading too fast and thought the letter in #80 was the example of what it would look like. (Long day! I need a nap!!)
  13. I have a cruise booked on this ship. All of my looking & research indicates that BALCONY cabins do NOT have any outlets near the beds. I purchased a long (withOUT surge protector) extension cord so I can use my CPAP.
  14. I keep looking and can't find the letter posted on CC ??
  15. One couple will not tender. The other couple is likely to tender. Activity level 1 sightseeing type tours.
  16. Not adventurous at all! One of the excursions we are looking forward to is a golf cart excursion (with driver / guide) in San Juan which will be basically like a private tour as they aren't open that day but said they would have a driver & taxi for us that day. 🙂
  17. Thanks - the most disabled couple does have experience w/ tender ports and the other couple has some cruising experience as well. They may opt to stay on board for tender ports.
  18. Is there any reason he can't just make the new reservation, then cancel the other one after he is onboard?
  19. Thanks - they have been in touch with the accessibility department but haven't yet discussed tender ports that I know of. Good point on tender port. He has a progressively degenerative disease so not sure what his status will be then. Right now he is able to walk, uses walker most of the time, scooter for long distances - but at some point that will become a wheelchair. Others in our party can not walk for long distances, etc.
  20. Thanks - still too fancy for me 🙂
  21. Thanks - it is St Thomas instead of St John but they might either go to St John or be able to recommend a company on St John. Passed the info on to my friend.
  22. Thanks! We actually have an update on this port - my friend contacted the company that was closed on Saturday. They are going to have a driver for us on the day they are closed!!
  23. Five of us are cruising in January and George Town, Grand Cayman is one of our ports. One person in our party will use either a scooter or wheelchair and I think one other with a walker and maybe one with a cane. We are looking for accessible excursions. Any that you can recommend?
