Sure hope it's ready to go for April 6th. Offers for it being canceled won't do me any good since it's a comped casino cruise but I'll be out flights.

Didn't know that seems silly for planes that they are building now, you would think they could land a plane no matter what the weight is onboard and anytime.
Not making me feel any better knowing this.
In an emergency I want the plane getting down ASAP, not waiting to burn it off or dump it somewhere.
Yep this is 100% true. A few weeks ago my plane was actually delayed by quite a while because they had put too much fuel in the plane for the short trip and we'd be too heavy to land so we had to wait for a fuel truck to come and remove some of the fuel from the plane before we could leave.

Thank God. I was worried I wouldn't be able to watch Cheddar news or whatever the stupid channel is that they have on and plays the same 8 cat clips all week.

As long as you don't take a test, you don't have covid. Happy sailing!

Wrong bartender. You have to watch. It's sort of a science finding a "favorable" one.
100%. Few weeks ago, one bartender wouldn't make doubles and would only stick to the "rules". Another would make my gin and tonics about 90% gin.. Tried to order from him as much as possible!

Always has been a better deal for us but we are big drinkers. We are Diamond, but if we go to the MDR for breakfast, that's 3 mimosas for me right there. Several bloody mary's at the pool and then beers in the pub before a nap, drinks at dinner and a nightcap. Oh be still my liver!
We aren't big drinkers at home but on vacation we let loose and to your point, it adds up quick

Not me either. I think that is drinking a 750 ml bottle of gin or tequila a day.
I think my personal record on a cruise in a day is somewhere between 20-25 drinks. Never barfed once!

Any others?
We've done Jamie's / giovanni's for lunch on embarkation day and we've done Playmakers a few times as well on first day for lunch

THANK YOU. I was about to say this same thing. OP if you think it will add fun to your vacation and it was a comp cruise anyway, just do it!! Have fun!!
The $550 will likely keep us out of the casino more, so spend $500 to save likely around $5k in gambling losses? Might be worth it lol

Though you could handle boarding day as you have satisfactorily on previous cruises…free D and casino drinks. The other poster’s point of view, I suspect, is that implies you’d be really buying the drink package the other two days. It is another way of looking at it. Perhaps you’d enjoy day 1 more with the drink package than with your usual method, in which case, some adjustment ought to be made.
Does the two bottle wine allowance impact your decision?
Not too much. My wife does some wine but I'm not a fan. I usually stick to gin or tequila

It sounds like you're considering buying the package for $550 for just 2 days of drinking. That's $225/person, or $112.50/day. That's about 8 frozen alcoholic drinks, or like 15 other types of drinks. This is on top of the 4 Diamond drinks, so you're looking at 12-19 drinks each day.
If you can drink that much liquid go for it, but if not, you do realize you're allowed to pay for drinks out of pocket right? Might cost you less than $550.
You're forgetting boarding day as we're generally onboard by 11am. Easily 10 drinks each that day, Nassau somewhere around 15 each if I had to guess based on past cruises, and potentially more in Coco cay since the cups are smaller at the pool.

I'd get them to have a look at that blue coloured ship too that has decided to go rogue and started ploughing through land towards Malaga.
That's Royals newest ship that hasn't been released yet.. Tractor of the Land! Plowing a field near you in 2025. All speciality restaurants are corn infused specialities! Puts a real twist on "chair hogs"!

Hello, we're booked on the Wonder 1/7-14. This will be our first RCCL sailing since our previous 2 bookings were canceled due to covid. We'd like to book a cabana for CocoCay and just wondering how far out from the cruise you're typically able to do this. Do they just pop up on the website one day? Right now it just says check back later. Thanks!
Just depends. I'm on icon is February of next year and cabanas are already loaded for our sailing. For a cool $3899 you can get the over the water lol

I would say, yes, it's worth it for your short cruise. Remember, the Dx package includes everything, not just alcohol. And, the "not having to worry about if you used up all of your D drinks, is a plus! I vote "yes" and hope you enjoy your shorty! Relax and enjoy the beach, etc.! Cheers!
First time ever doing a short weekend cruise so our normal 7 day cruise brain is all out of sorts lol. Normally on a 7 day with prime and diamond I'm sick of alcohol by the end but with this short one and being on the ship or Coco cay the whole time, a whole different mind set.

Thoughts? My wife and I have been prime for quite a while now, and we're both diamond so we each get 4 drinks per person per day. The last handful of cruises, we've never even considered the drink package because using our diamond drinks during the day and popping in and out of the casino, and then being in the casino each night, we easily would have 10-15 drinks a day and never paid for a single one.
We have a short 3 day coming up that stops at Nassau and Coco Cay. We'll stay on the ship all day in Nassau, but casino is closed. Coco cay, we'll be off the ship from 8am until likely 5. Yes we can use our Diamonds on Coco cay but could easily drink 4 Coco locos before 10am if we wanted lol.
We're considering the drink package for this one since it works at Coco Cay and I feel like we won't be able to use prime drinks as often. Package comes to like $550 with gratuity for the two of us for the 3 days.
Crazy to get it or no? Normally we can easily get tipsy on diamond and prime drinks but this cruise, the package seems like it makes more sense.
The cruise is a free comped cruise for what it's worth.

Last I heard it had been closed and had not re-opened after Covid. We have a cruise booked on April 7 and are hoping to be able to use it, too. Hoping somebody who has been on the ship recently will answer you.
We were onboard last week and it was open for bookings. Saw a handful of groups go up the stairs to it when we were in Izumi. Can't remember the price within the app though.

Update…I went through my check in screen for the hundredth time again and this time I got the All checked in email and was able to access the Set Sail Pass on App and PC. I noticed that my reservation is linked to some support team. I called Royal twice.
I am so glad it is resolved.. hooray 😃Yep I was able to get to mine as well. Took a screen shot to be safe.

Hasn't been resolved yet. I wonder how boarding went for anyone boarding the last few days without a set sail

Good ol Royal IT

You may have some success if the specialty is near another, but to others points, if it's hooked, it's generally not near any other restaurant so I wouldn't try. We've a few times ordered a shrimp cocktail from Chops in giovanni's on oasis ships since it's right across the way, but that's about as far as we've ever asked.

Getting off navigator today! Kivi Rogers was hilarious. A member of the cruise director staff last night said your sailing has 902 kids, so pack your patience or get full use of the drink package!

Thanks everyone. I definitely drink a lot of water (and alcohol lol). It's definitely more of an annoyance than anything. In the morning they're usually good but midday, right back at it until bed

Anyone know if you get anything as far as future cruise credit or transfer to another sailing on a comped casino cruise?
