Normally you should hear from her the week prior. They are very busy with the suite guests they have onboard right now. Maybe tomorrow after the ship docks, or even by Monday but its been said already, anything you need help with or reservations, they can do when you board next week, without a problem. I sent her an Email from our hotel in FLL. on the Saturday before our cruise, and she got right back to me with all our requests, including our dinner reservations for that Sunday night !

You can watch the ship leave on the web cam........

Don't know if this will help, but we got an Email from Royal to book speciality dining, so I called C&A and asked about booking over the phone. The very nice lady told me they would rather I wait till we were onboard and book with the concierge. Her reason was if I booked now, I would have to pay full price and get reimbursed onboard, which they don't like to deal with refunds. She did say the concierge does hold seats in speciality restaurants for D, D+ and P. you may want to call to see if they give you the same answer !

Nuts....we are in the Oct. 11th cruise but our room category is gone.
-
I usually wait to the last minute to pay in full, mainly because there is no interest charged to my reservation. I usually make small payments month to month and pay my credit card bill as I go, then by final pay off time my its a relatively small bill to pay.

9050 Discovery Pl. you can google it to see exactly where it is.

Royal should update your documentation with your new room # so you can print them out. 3 weeks away is still plenty of time to have this done. We have done last minute room changes, and have still been able to print out new tags !

That's where we had breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Enjoy that cruise!

Thank You ! It's taking its sweet time getting here, but time onboard goes by in the blink of an eye ! Enjoy your cruises also !

They will normally have a letter in your stateroom with the perks.
Thanks Bob. We will miss Portifino's , great breakfast and a very relaxing way to start the day !

I keep running into people on those mid October Freedom cruises. Giovanni replaced Portofino
I've been trying to keep up with posts on where suite guests can have breakfast on Freedom . We used to go to Portifino's , but from what I have read, it looks like we go to Chop's now instead ! I guess we will find out for sure when we board !

Love the Freedom class ships ! So much to do onboard, yet small enough that you get to know the crew ! Strongly dislike Sovereign class as there're no amenities onboard !
-
On Allure we loved going to Park Cafe or having room service. We will be on Freedom on 10/11 and usually went to Portifino's but it looks like it will be Chops now.

If you find these areas to crowded, use the 3 free drinks that will be on your card at any bar . You will find them a lot less crowded than either lounge.
-
Not sure if this helps, but we are cruising in Oct. and I was told to call back in Sept. to reserve a table for our MTD.

Sorry to hear of your missed cruise, hope all goes well ! We place our cruises on such a high priority, I would be devastated to miss one !

We were just bumped last month for a Celebrity cruise next Oct. sorry I can't be a help with your question, but they gave us a week to decide on the date they picked. We could get the room for the same price and were given $100 onboard credit. Sorry this doesn't help !
-
Very nice post, Thank You ! Counting down to our cruise on her, can't wait !
-
We usually tip our waiter and asst. waiter an extra $20. It depends on how well our room attendant takes care of us, maybe up to $100 for them !

Thought I saw a video on YouTube.....

The first night won't be a problem, after that, you may be turned away. That being said, we've seen people at formal night in their formal T- shirts allowed in ......

We would have stuck with Enchantment . We have been on Majesty twice with friends who wanted to cruise, but go very cheap, and we got what we paid for !

We use insuremytrip.com for every vacation, even non cruise vacations.

I am traveling on Oasis and since we will be at Haiti on the suite holder beach I wanted a cabana. I have left various requests for weeks and emailed the concierge for help. They told me they do not normally start booking the cabana's before 2 weeks to sailing and I am 16 days away.
This morning they returned my email :D....but all the cabana's are gone  How is it that I have been so on top of this and yet they are all booked when you can ONLY book a suite cabana with the concierge??
I was actually told you can only book directly with the concierge when on board the ship but thanks to ALL of you, I realized there was hope in emailing directly.
So yes, I am grateful to have a suite and I don't want to sound spoiled but a cabana was the only thing we wanted in Haiti to celebrate my son's birthday. I am bummed and also confused how did other's grab them up?
Thanks
Maggie:)
I know it won't make this all better, but as a gold card suite guest, you can still go to BB and take advantage of the beach and lunch, even if you don't get a cabana. There are plenty of beach chairs in the shade, and you can save by not paying for the cabana.
