  1. I suppose I could ON cruiser. But, as explained to CruiserFromMain, I simply don't have the energy left to fight & will let that one go. I'm still chasing after an airfare cancellation fee & 4 nights of pre-cruise hotel accommodations in Rome. I booked my hotel through Agoda & that was a huge mistake. I will never do that again. I'm hoping that Seabourn will come through for me on those cancellation expenses. If they do, half of the refund will go to a food bank. Thank you for your advice.
  2. A visit to my local bank branch would probably help but would require an appointment during the pandemic. I simply don't have the energy left to put up another fight for the money owed me.
  3. Yes, you're right, Dave. The bank that issued my credit card is actually the culprit in this case & not Visa.
  4. I'm quite pleased to have received my cruise refund after a 71-day wait but I now have another beef that has nothing to do with Seabourn. Visa told me that it would take them 30 days to transfer the amount refunded on my card to my bank account. So a 71-day wait has now evolved into an 101-day wait. The maximum daily amount that I can transfer myself online is $1,000, accompanied by a $3.50 charge for each transfer. The consumer loses no matter what!
  5. Good news mates! A $41,510 refund from SB appeared on my Visa card this morning. The transaction was authorized on June 4th & applied to BTB cruises scheduled for April 29th & May 16th. I wish everybody good luck with their refunds & thank JPH814 for all the time & effort he invested in this roll call.
  6. Sorry, I meant Neptune.
  7. Day 67 & still no refund. Got all excited this morning because I received an email from SB telling me that the cancellation of my cruise had resulted in the cancellation & refund of an Internet purchase. Since I purchased my BTB cruises over the Internet, I was hoping for a cruise refund. Instead, I received a $0 refund for a reservation at The Grill by Thomas Keller. Why do they bother with this nonsense? They owe me over $40,000 & are refunding me for a free reservation. They cancelled my cruises - did they expect me to dine at the Grill at the bottom of the ocean with Jupiter & some mermaids?
  8. Completely agree with you on that one, Bobal. Let's stay on topic.
  9. If you follow all the clues, it appears to me that the identity of the defendant has been revealed by a poster on this board.
  10. Cruise Date: Apr. 29, 2020 Refund Request Date: Mar. 30, 2020 Refund Status: Pending as of May 9, 2020 Cruise Date: May 16, 2020 Refund Request Date: Apr. 15, 2020 Refund Status: Pending as of May 9, 2020
  11. I don't think it's a good idea to let SB know what you plan to do. They read Cruise Critic too & probably base some of their decisions on what you post on this board.
  12. I cannot believe what I read on this topic. An argument about what appears on a death certificate? Covid-19 or pneumonia? Who the hell cares? Let's get real and stick to the topic at hand: Seabourn & the corona virus. Let's stop squabbling like children & provide relevant information if we have any.
  13. Some people see life through rose-coloured glasses & call it positive thinking. It's positive allright but is it wise?
  14. Thank you for this post. It is the most useful one I have read up to now as far as it relates to my personal situation.
