I found my answer. The 330.00 is per person for our 16 day cruise. At that price I will bring my own soda, as there are 3 of us and there is no way we would drink $1,000 dollars worth!

Everyone needs to decide what they want to spend their $$$ on and beverages are not it for me but I am sure it will be a good deal for others.

Another question: is the package for the room or per person? The package for 16 days is 330.00 on the Koningsdam. It doesn't say everyone in the cabin must purchase it, only that it must be for the duration of the trip.

They were sold out a week ago for the Nov. 6 NA cruise.

I looked at their schedule online and they have dinner booked for Master Chef participants at 8:00 in the dining room. There was nothing else that looked like it would impact those of us not participating. Most activities were going on in the showroom during the day. There is a sail away at the Seaview pool and one night there was a one hour cocktail party at the Lido pool.

It has been reported that there is no self serve laundry on Koningsdam.

How does someone request a specific table? Do you ask at the dining room? And when?

That's okay. We are on a Caribbean cruise in November. I was hoping to book on board or shortly after we got back. We sail again Sept. 2017. We may wait till then unless a good promo is on.

They have a 50.00 soda card for 25.00 and should be under Indulgences when you have signed into My Account and look at your booked cruise.

Our Sep. 17, 2017 Koningsdam 12 day Iberian cruise has been changed to a 16 day Iberian Adventure! Yeah!

Can anyone tell me whether a cabana can be booked ahead if you only want it for a day, not the whole cruise? We know that on a specific port day we are not getting off and would like to pre book a cabana.

We are on the Nieuw Amsterdam 7 day Eastern Caribbean November 6, 2016 for our 40th anniversary

And the Koningsdam 12 day Iberian Cruise September 17, 2017 for a 60th birthday!

I will be following faithfully as I will be boarding when you get off! We are actually leaving home Thursday and flying out of Detroit Friday morning, staying the night in Orlando. We are doing Disney afterwards for 2 days.

I came to Canada with my parents in 1961 on the Ryndam. I have a few memories of that voyage but that may just be from looking at the photos my parents took. One of the activities they have a picture of is standing with their hands tied behind their backs while trying to bite into a piece of cake dangling from strings above their heads!
