  1. You need to read the attachment from Bonnie The existing benefits are combined with the extra % So Veranda Plus would be the same as 10-19 cruises - extra 25% combined minutes or redemption value
  2. Azamara loyalty is about how much you pay. LCV is about total points. The more you pay for accommodation the more points you receive. We have been "Top Cruisers" 4 times but are only Discover Plus If we ever reach Platinum we will be the happiest people in the world We will have reached 100 years of age and fit enough to still be traveling! 🤩 We have B2B cruises in March 2020 On the second cruise we will reach 365 nights on Azamara But we don't think that Azamara will roll out the red carpet This loyalty level does not exist with Azamara What about a new discount system for true loyalty 10 to 19 cruises 25% - 20-29 cruises 50% - 30 Plus cruises Unlimited Internet. Those in Miami seem to only count beans. Peter & Trish
  3. This is a link for directions on the Azamara web site information https://www.azamara.com/en-au/dublin-ireland-cruises#boarding-directions
  4. Oceania has two new ships which will arrive in 2022 and 2025 They will have 1,200 passengers, similar in size to the Marina and Riviera

    Disappointed

Most may have done this crossing many times But it is about the lowest daily cost cruise https://booking.azamaraclubcruises.com/ibe/holiday?s=NBXVT20191208165702609&paxCounts=2A-0T-0C-0I,&childAges=&baseProductType=CRU&cruiseOnly=true&departureDate=20201114&lang=en&company=LON&division=LONDIR&brand=AZA&distChannel=W&currency=GBP&accessible=false&roomWise=true&searchPriceFeed=false&clientId=-1&clientGroup=Direct&subSearchType=A&productCode=TMD&useFeed=false&cabinCount=1&depGateway=LHR&sourceCountry=GB&ship=QS&ppgr=true&cruLine=AZA Peter

    Disappointed

When onboard Pursuit in October, spoke with several UK guests and all are looking or have booked with SAGA. Will have 2 new all balcony ships of 1,000 passengers by mid next year and drinks will be included. This could be the main competitor for Azamara in the UK. Peter
  7. Have just noticed on the Senior Officer list for the Journey that Fred Bubner no longer relieves Heike, have I missed an announcement, the relief is now Ngawhira Fleet (Quest - Guest Relations Manager). https://www.azamara.com/en-au/life-onboard/crew/senior-officer-schedule peter
  8. Hi Denise, We had dinner with HD Richard and only two other guests in October on that table, was ok at the start but later very noisy . We were on the Pursuit in March for Rio to Lisbon, and have been following with interest your posts According to CruiseMapper the seas are currently 3.7M, there is a Windstar ship a distance ahead the seas are 2.8M So better seas are ahead, have a great cruise. https://www.cruisemapper.com/?imo=9210220 Peter and Trish
  9. When we embarked from Nice 2017, it was from Quai Amiral Infernet. https://www.azamara.com/en-au/nice-france-cruises#boarding-directions Cheers, Peter
  10. Gibraltar has just released the Iranian oil tanker, lets hope that Iran will now release the UK oil tanker. This should then lower tensions in the region. Looking forward to our B2B 17th and 28th March 2020 cruises on the Quest. Cheers Peter
  11. Gibraltar releases Iranian oil tanker, so maybe Iran will now release UK tanker and calm the situation.
  12. There are always issues on cruise ships with noise issues. Being near a crew door that is used constantly in the morning to deliver breakfast. Or other guest who just slam the door. Vibration and various engine or generator humming. We have stayed in Category 5 staterooms on about 20 cruises. That area is our favourite. The noise from above each morning seems to depend on the crew member. On occasions little to no noise, but the disappointing issue has been Azamara not taking action. Mentioned this to Hotel Director Richard on our last cruise on the Pursuit as we had issues with access to Sunset Veranda. He thought that the crew started at about 7.00AM and was going to check, this was on our second last day. Will be onboard Journey 1st July and B2B2B cruises on Pursuit in October and will stake special note of any noise issues. We will be leaving home in about 1 hour for 6 hour bus trip to Sydney and overnight at airport hotel. The next day fly to Dubai at 6.00AM (14 Hrs) then overnight in Dubai for 2 nights and then 7.30 hr flight to Oslo. Those living in UK dont know how lucky you are. At least for European cruises. Peter
  13. This has been put in place solely because of the expensive suites If you book under the Showroom too bad Under the pool area bad luck We normally book an Oceanview under the boardwalk below the tenders We are disturbed by crew moving chairs as early as 6.00AM But Azamara will not change the time they start working in that area Special rule for some guests - guests who keep booking these suites should be well aware of the problem Peter
  14. We have cruised with Azamara 25 times and only twice with Celebrity. Since the introduction of the 3 and 4 member bands in the Living Room there has been a significant volume increase, resulting in a far less enjoyable experience. We have just returned from a cruise on the Quest. One evening at about 7.30PM the decibel level on the side of the Living Room was measured at 93. The area in front of the stage on the dance floor is were the volume is loudest. Sounds above 85 decibels can be harmful. The decibel level some distance from the band, outside the Living Room near the lift was measured at 70. We were considering booking 4 new cruises but decided to reconsider. Our next cruise will be our first on the Pursuit in March. The stage on Pursuit is located away from the front windows, with seating between the windows and the stage. We have been told that the sound is lower between the stage and the front windows. Possibly the Pursuit may be a better option for our future cruises.
  15. We've just booked 20th March 2019 (17 nights) on the Pursuit - not using the current promotion The price on the Azamara web site is $10,800 AUD - we booked with discount agent for $7,400 AUD There are loads of staterooms available so we may beat the 497 guest low that Phil reported Lets hope we are not sailing on a ghost ship Peter
