  1. Then stick with the smaller ships, pretty simple. No need to complain about the new ship, you don't like it, then don't book it. Also, no need to exagerate on the number of people getting on or off just to make a silly point that is invalid.
  2. I'm not sure what you or others were expecting then. They will build for where the money is, and that is that 30-50 year age group, makes solid business sense all around. They have to maintain a new core base each year otherwise the brand suffers/dies as the older people are no longer able to cruise.
  3. Apparently that peron thinks they should cater to the 70+ crowds and ignore the ones that will be here for for 40-50 years.... lol
  4. A bit pretentious don't you think? Older people have moremoney, lol.... that's laughable. RCL is trying to keep the entire customer base open to sailing on their newest ship. I no longer have kids below 18, but I will definitely be going on this. As far as being Disney Cruise Line, that is laughable.... ever been on that? Not even close to a family cruise on Royal... good luck finding anything to to do after 10pm on that cruise line. Royal is a great combination and I enjoy the families and kids, I'm not a crumudgeon.
  5. We have been waiting to buy our ultimate drink package for awhile. It has sat at 20% off for a 4 night cruise, which is $68 per person. We are about a week and a half away from boarding. Any chances this goes down, or should I purchase now?
  6. The sneezing and not covering mouths was always a problem before any of this, so why now is a concern more so? Maybe cruising isn't a logical vacation for some then I suppose. You can't control everyone that don't have proper manners.
  7. Here in Tampa Bay you can't smoke inside any restaurant or bar except for the Hard Rock Casino. I can't tell you how happy I am that changed 10 or so years ago. The casino here is very well ventilated and does have non smoking areas, but I don't gamble except on a cruise so I don't know how good the ventilation system works, outside my wife at times smells like cigarettes when she gets home from work, but only rarely, but I just may be used to it, who knows.
  8. Far from the same people! I am a drinker and my wife and most my friends are with only 2 of them in total being smokers. Hard to lump that group together, that is clearly a misnomer if you look at the people on RCCL cruises now adays.
  9. LOL, yep, people trying to stay on unemployment. It's the same anywhere, lots interview, few take the jobs. I see it at a local casino here and the restaurants here.
  10. Not sure who your employer is, but it is 5 days now to be out... I don't require employees to be out even that if they are symptom free and have no fever, especially our outside workers.
  11. When is the best time to buy the drink package prior to the cruise. We are going on the Allure on April2 and best we have seen is a promom for buy 1 get other 50% off, which amounts to $66 per day for an 8 night cruise. This amounts to about $1250 for the two of us. Is there ever better deals offered and should I wait longer than what is offered now?
