It’s time for bingo! Here is Patti’s favorite bingo package…..
Here is some bingo info……
When it was all said and done, Patti didn’t have any winners. She met me at the Lobby Bar where we spent some time having drinks with Yanti and Melissa…..
Patti catches a couple of Dreamscapes that she hadn’t seen yet…..
We made our way back to the cabin to relax for a little bit. Here are Patti’s ducks. She needs to get them packed!

Patti is in line to get her omelet…..
After she eats, she meets me back at the cabin. I Gede and his assistant Amilcar are outside our door, so we decide to tip them now. Here they are……
Amilcar takes a picture of I Gede and us……
Patti and I head over to the Ocean Plaza to buy the bingo cards for this afternoon’s bingo games. We have a $29 bingo package that we won from Deal or No Deal, so we pay $20 more to upgrade to Patti’s favorite bingo package.
We went back to the cabin to change to go out to the Havana Area. Our cabin has been cleaned, and I Gede has left his final towel creation…..
We hung out in the Havana Area until 12:30pm. I went back to the cabin to do my packing, while Patti made her way to the Liquid Lounge for $5,000 Jackpot Bingo. She’s got her drink and her cards, so she’s ready…..
But first, Cruise Director Marty is conducting his Q&A session……

Day # 14- (April 27th) – Fun Day at Sea # 6.
We were up at 6:30 to a warm sunny day. The seas have a little bit of chop to them…..
Here are today’s Fun Times. They must have borrowed some Fun Time paper stock from the Carnival Magic yesterday…..
I went to the Ocean Plaza Bar to get my morning coffee from Setyo, and then back to the cabin to work on pictures. Patti just about completes her packing. She’s hungry, so she’s going to the Lido Marketplace for an omelet. But first she passes the Reflections Restaurant where they are setting up for the Thing 1 & Thing 2 Birthday Breakfast…..

Sorry to be nosy but how much are the Margaritaville villas? I couldn’t find the price anywhere.
I’ve read your reviews for years and thank you for all you guys do. I hope Patti hit a bingo or gets them next time!
The Pool Cabanas are $400 and are available in Carnival's Shore Excursions.

Stopped by Hawaiian Bros. yesterday with the family for some dinner. They sell t-shirts there. On the back of two of the shirts is a single pineapple. Imagine how that goes over these days. Who would have thought that a single fruit would represent something totally different?
Are they upside down? 😁

While we were docked in Grand Turk, we decided to stay on and take advantage of a much quieter ship. We pretty much had Serenity to ourselves that day!
Our views of Grand Turk from Serenity
Hey I didn't know it when I took this picture, but I'm pretty sure I see Jeff in the pool.
We spent several blissfully quiet hours at Serenity, leaving only briefly to grab a quick lunch. We had no problem getting seats again when we returned. We stayed until it got too windy and the chair cushions started flying around. Mark caught a few and put them back in place but the crew came around and said they were closing the area.
So we did the next best thing, before getting ready for dinner.
Dinner was in the MDR that night and was probably the best meal we had in there during the two weeks. We ordered a glass each of Moscato to avoid the champagne/peach schnapps drama.
We didn't order dessert tonight; we didn't want to commit that much time. After dinner, we made our usual rounds - lobby bar then Ocean Plaza Bar - before ending up in Havana Bar around 10:00 where Jeff soon appeared.
Before too long we were ready to call it a night. When we got back to our room, we found another batch of delicious cookies which I think was the best dessert of the two weeks. 🙂
Great pictures Beth! You did catch me leaving the pool to make a pit stop and grab another beer! It was a vicious cycle! 😁

Love sea days!
That's the beauty of sailing to the Caribbean from NYC. A minimum of two sea days each way!

So for ship spotters and for the sake of port crowds, let's see who's in with us port by port!
NYC - Venezia ONLY... Wow. I guess departing on a Monday has its perks! This will hopefully ease congestion.
Nassau - TRAFFIC JAM - Venezia, Liberty, Conquest, Freedom OTS, MSC Magnifica, MSC Seascape. Wow, That's one busy day. Nassau packs em in.
HMC - Venezia ONLY.
Grand Turk - Venezia ONLY.
Amber Cove - Venezia ONLY.
Back to NYC - Venezia, Island Princess. At least we're in with a smaller ship (relatively) so getting that ride to LGA won't be too tough.
That's a lot of places to ourselves! I'll take it!
You won't have to worry about that Princess ship when you get back to New York. They dock in Brooklyn!

Afterwards, I made my way down to the Havana Bar for a nightcap, where I bumped into Beth & Mark…….
Around 10:30pm I made the short walk back to the cabin where I see that another plate of cookies has been delivered to us…..
Today’s Cheers count: Patti = 3, Jeff = 9. For the day (E), for the cruise (+21).
Coming up next: Our final day on the Carnival Vista!

I went back to the cabin to take a little nap. Patti went out exploring and found Clinton playing in the Red Frog Pub……
Patti went outside and got some pictures of tonight’s sunset…..
After that, Patti went up to the Deli to grab a bite to eat, and then made her way back to the cabin. Meanwhile, I had gotten up from my nap and made my way down to the Limelight Lounge for some comedy. These were the comedians for the second half of this cruise…..

For the next couple of hours we enjoyed the Pool Cabana, drinks, and dips in the pool…..
At 2:30pm we decided to head back to the ship. We paid our tab, ($104 + tip), said goodbye to Marosa, and then made our way back…..
The Fun Squad was out there to greet us…..

Patti is making her way back to Margaritaville…..
Patti spots me hanging out in the pool……
The following pictures show how crowded the pool area can get, especially with two ships in port. This is why we always try to get a Pool Cabana here. There’s plenty of space for ourselves, it’s air conditioned, we have our own server, and we can eat our food in comfort and quiet……

Patti has made it to Jack’s Shack. We were last here in January 2023, shortly after the new owner took over. It was not a good experience. We could forgive that the website was not updated with the new beach chair and umbrella prices, (which are more than reasonable), but what we couldn’t forgive was the inattentive service by the bartenders, especially when it wasn’t busy. Practically had to beg for a drink, they left dirty glasses and dishes on the bar forever, and spent more time drinking shots amongst themselves. The food was nothing special, and the prices were just as high, or even higher than at Margaritaville. The only thing going for them is the nice sandy beach there. We may give them another try in the future, but the reviews on Trip Advisor need to get better. In fairness, they seem to be trending up……
It seems like the cats have the run of the place now….

Popping in here in the middle of Jeff & Patti's day in Grand Turk to share our sea day. 🙂
Coffee/Pepsi Zero with Setyo at Ocean Plaza (again).
Blue Iguana breakfast (again).
We interrupt this walk to hide a duck in the mini golf area.
Hot tub time by the Tides pool (surprisingly not all that busy today) then lunch.
By then it was margarita research time (again)!
Before long it was time to shower and get ready for dinner. Today's towel animal by Astika.
Pre-dinner drinks at Ocean Plaza bar where there were two baby girl purple pirates playing. So we hid in plain sight a couple pink ducks for them to find.
On our way to dinner at JiJi, Mark hid another duck.
Bali Sunset drinks
I guess at dinner you just fill out one menu order for the table.
Not exactly sure what this was but they were good.
Shrimp dumplings for Mark
The best for me (but I let Mark have one)!
We both had Kung Pao Chicken, fried rice and hakka noodles
We both had crepes for dessert
And fortune cookies!!
What the??? How did they know we were going to watch the NFL draft after dinner?? 🤣
Every thing was delicious and this was easily my favorite dinner of the two weeks. But now, we're off to watch the draft! I consider draft day one of my favorite holidays! 🏈
It was around 7:00 pm and the meat locker aka Heroes Lounge was packed to the gills so we tried Red Frog Pub where it was not at all crowded. Ron was playing his tunes in there so we had some entertainment until the draft started. We got excellent seats at the bar right in front of a TV.
Smart man getting a jersey that's not dependent on a player staying on your team. 😂
By draft time, RFP was a lot more peoply than when we first walked in. I had my hoodie with me because we had planned to watch from Heroes Lounge. I needed it to hold Mark's seat while he went to the restroom.
We hung out and watched the draft until around 10:30 then grabbed some pizza and called it a night.
It seems you guys had a nice relaxing day as well! JiJi's was also our best meal of our cruises!

Our Carnival Vista B2B - Havana Style - (with pics!) - 4/14/24
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
We decided that the last dinner of our cruise would be at Bonsai Sushi. Patti had the green salad, edemame, and California rolls……
I’m enjoying my Sake Sangria……
I had the miso soup, bang bang rolls, and meat skewers…..
It was another great dinner here! Afterwards we made our way to the Havana Bar to have drinks with Kiran. After I maxed out my Cheers Package for today, it was time to call it a cruise, head back to the cabin, and put out our luggage. It’s always a sad sight…..
Today’s Cheers count: Patti = 6, Jeff = 15. For the day (+9), the final count for the cruise (+30).
Coming up next: Debarkation day and we begin our journey home.
