If Royal is taking the crew home by ship they know it's going to be awhile before things are back to normal.

I feel for him and the crew. When he didn’t post I really got worried. And, like an earlier poster said, I too, thought it odd that he said he was watching his last sunset while yet knowing he still had a few days left. I hope he is ok! 

Maybe it’s just “operator error” but I haven’t been able to find Chris’ day 9 vlog from Oasis. I know he said he is having to leave the ship in a few more days, but I’m wondering why he isn’t posting.  Anyone?

So any thoughts as to those that booked Allure in the Med or on the TA expecting a newer “Amplified ” ship? Partial refund, or FCC??  Seems fair that as the product will be less than what was advertised and sold as, that perhaps there will be some sort of compensation.?

And, if before final payment, we would also have the option to switch the booking to a future sailing, yes? 

And if that sailing was less, then the extra paid would be refunded to credit card?

I have the same issue.  Sailing on Oasis on Sunday and the friend I am supposed to travel with is afraid to go.  I have tried to make all the arguments mentioned in this thread but she won't budge... so I am sailing alone since she is going to be a no show and I will get triple points instead of double.  Funny thing is she does not know her son has booked a surprise Alaska cruise for her with his family in May!  

I am also sailing sunday on Oasis with my mother. Hopefully we will all be ok!

So, Mom (Platinum) and I (Diamond) embark on the Oasis this Sunday.  I am the primary passenger and did all the booking, etc.  Question is this: the luggage tags for our stateroom say "Platinum" member on all of them.  Don't you think it's odd that since I made the reservation and am one more level up than my mom, that they wouldn't say "Diamond?"

Yes!! I am booked on the Feb 23 sailing and received this as well. If we specifically chose a stateroom a year ago I do not see how they can deny us that cabin and especially if we have been paid in full for months! 

I have not responded to the email. We chose that stateroom as my 85 year old mother LOVES the balcony and loungers and is out there all the time. We are crossing our fingers that no one else has a working set of Sea Pass cards for our room 😱😱😱.

Can you still access the bridge wings? Sailing end of February and it’s my favorite spot to sail from. 

So they won’t reprice the cabin? I’m asking because I also booked a balcony cabin as a solo on Allures west bound TA in November — but now considering adding a companion.

I am on that sailing as well.  I will add that I went to Perfect Day last June and it was fabulous!!! Plenty of sun and fun for FREE! I spent the morning floating in the crystal clear waters and then the afternoon at that AMAZING pool!  AND, after having been 9 days straight on the Atlantic, I will be looking forward to a Perfect Day at Coco Cay!

Yes, there is a White Party and sometimes a Red Party!  Usually it is in the Solarium and starts later at night.

Hello!  It has been many many years since I have cruised out of Miami.  Any advice on where to stay the night prior to departure? something relatively inexpensive but decent? Are there hotels close to the port?

Are there any themed nights like a white party? No formal nights, right? I am on the June 24th sailing, same itinerary. 

Did you do traditional dining? If so, were you pleased with the food in the dining room? I was last on Majesty in November 1993 — she will seem small now! 

How was the motion of the ship?
