This is very intriguing to me. I don't have myVegas, but will look into it. Does anyone know if you can use the discount with a military discount as well?
For the free cruises.... the cruise fare is free. There is nothing to discount. You still have to pay port fees/taxes and daily service charges.

Finally paid in full today. Still unable to do it online. It just does not show when I sign in. Calling in payment didn’t go smoothly either. First agent was convinced I had booked via a travel agent and refused to take payment. I just hung up and called back. Next agent took payment, but somewhere along the way my email address was wrong, so that had to be fixed to get an email confirmation of payment. That agent did say others were having similar issues of not being able to pay online. His explanation was lots of people were trying to do transactions online... okay whatever!

Here was the other option. This was after the same header as above. I picked Cruise Details and got the 3 options shown and selected Payment and price details.
I am on an iPad, so running Safari. I am going through there website, not an app. And signing in with email, not Booking number. If any of this makes a difference.
And you are not past Paid in Full date? (Just trouble shooting anything).
Mine doesn’t have payment and price details where yours does. Maybe they want to give it to me for free? lol My final payment is due in 8 days.

Can you even get the cruise info when you sign in?
Yes, but there’s nothing anywhere about making the payment.

I made our final payment on-line couple weeks ago, got email receipt of payment.
Where do I click to pay online? I don’t see it.

Hi all,
I can’t remember... can I pay for my MSC cruise online or must I call in the payment? I booked directly with MSC.

Not NCL's fault you decided to roll the dice and fly in the day of a cruise.

When we last left our intrepid adventurer, I was navigating the inside of the ship trying to find a place to sit down. The medical emergency closed about 1/2 the ships’s public areas do it felt more crowded even with this lowered capacity. They closed Viking crown lounge, solarium, pool decks, outdoor jogging track on 5. Not sure if Windjammer was closes.
We had a meet up with the site that can’t be mentioned here in the Spotlight lounge. We originally had it in the Solarium, but that was
closed. Unfortunately, there was a planned event for Diamond Plus and above so we were kicked out soon after we got there. So that broke up. We inadvertently ended at the name that tune trivial where I was mostly useless.
I decided to get a specialty coffee. It was called a cold satin something. Coffee, triple sec, malibu rum and butterscotch. It was interesting. Unfortunately, I’m a lightweight and that affected me.
Lunch in the MDR.
Menu
This was the “smoked” potato soup. I had it on Brilliance and it was amazing. This one, had no smoked flavor at all. It wasn’t bad, just not smoked.
Lamb Pita. It was ok. The sauce you see is tzatziki sauce. I thought there was a sour note to it and I didn’t like it. My wife tried it and said its great. She also said that’s how Tzatziki sauce is supposed to be. Its made of cucumbers and i hate cucumbers. Apparent the Tzatziki i’m used to at Cava isn’t real Yzatziki.
My wife got the butternut squash risotto.
And for dessert, Key Lime Pie.
My wife’s dessert is the royal chocolate cake.
By now, I’m really full as i wasn’t really hungry from dinner. Ended back in the room and passed out.
Here are pictures of our room. Its a “Spacious” Balcony.
This is also the first room i’ve ever had that they decided to put the plug as far away as possible from the bed. The two room plugs are located next to the door of the balcony. The extension cord they gave me does not reach the bed but my cord for my CPAP makes up for it. My wife is usually on the right side of the bed but we switched.
Also. This thermostat does not make sense. Which way is colder?
To make it cooler on EOS, I turned it counter clockwise. The downside was any time I would turn it clockwise, it would turn on the heat to make the room warmer. I just wanted it OFF sometimes!

As some of you know, my belief is that the one major flaw of all the cruises i’ve taken is that the coffee is bad across-the-board. Princess, Celebrity, Carnival and royal Caribbean are the same.
on my last cruise on the Brilliance, I may have perfected my experiment with the aeropress. So we have packed two of them as well as coffee. I am not willing to bring a grinder on board for fear of losing it. So I do the unthinkable. I have pre-ground my coffee. As any real coffee drinker can tell you, You’re supposed to grind your beans right before you brew it. But because I can’t I have to pregrind it.
I am mathed this out. Ideally my wife and I will drink 2 cups of coffee per day. Since today does not count, And the last day we can delay coffee as we are disembarking, I need supplies for 44 cups of coffee.
That’s a lot of coffee. This is in fact more than a pound of coffee I am bringing with us.
You will be thankful you brought that with you. I was. just on EOS. I normally drink one diet soda in the morning. Since I didn’t have a drink package on the cruise, I was drinking the coffee. Then I had horrible indigestion for 2 days. I then figured out it was from the coffee! It was awful!

I was on the Enchantment of the Seas cruise before this one. So it’s fun to watch your cruise online. If you see the waitress/host at the buffet entrance named Yaxiang, tell her Heather from the last cruise says hello! I’ve been on a lot of cruises and she’s one of my favorite cruise staff ever.

For the Feb. 5th-17th cruise it was closed every night
Well, that’s how I read it in the app for 2/25 cruise. These people will be surprised!
-
To clarify... the buffet is closed every NIGHT or just the first night? I tried to tell those on the 2/25 enchantment cruise about the closure, but they just want to argue with me about it.

I had that happen once and ended up linking it in my husband's account. Don't have a clue why it happened. It kept saying it was linked but it never showed up in my account. To add my husband was not even on the bookings but I could still link it in his account
Well I checked that... realized hubby didn’t have an online account. My cruise doesn’t show up there, but it does show him having as many crown and anchor points as me which is wrong. Ugh. He should have 15, not the 35 like me.

Have you seen the charge for the deposit yet? I know I’ve been able to link cruises but haven’t been able to see them in cruise planner until after I see the charge for the deposit.
Charge is pending on Royal Caribbean credit card.

HI all, I booked a cruise about an hour ago. Despite linking the reservation to my account, I still do not see my reservation online or in the app. I have signed in and out multiple times and deleted and reinstalled app. Royal was really no help when I called. They said they see it. Well that’s great... I don’t! I only see my cruise for March, not the one I have in 8 days! I would like to do some planning for it. Does anyone have any suggestions to get this fixed??

You get whatever perk promotion is currently running and it just changed a couple of days ago. A good PCC should have told you that your perks would change.

I too am seeing the " Your Cruise is on hold "page, has anyone been informed if/ when NCL will be fixing the glitch ?
One online chat agent suggested to clear computer cache/ cookies...nope...still there.
NCL told me there’s no expected time frame to get it fixed. Clearing cache etc isn’t going to fix the problem. I just paid the $3.50 even though I don’t owe it, to make it go away. Was causing me too much headache and problems.

Did they say it could impact being able to board? My mother has a similar issue, though hers shows a negative balance and is still prompting her to make a payment.
No, lots of people have this problem. NCL is aware. I was told to not pay anything and ignore anything that looks like my cruise is being canceled for nonpayment.

UPDATE Well, not canceled (yet lol) ! I contacted NCL online, he swore I owed money. Not true. So that was hopeless, he wanted me to submit a case online. Yeah ok, add that to the thousands out there I am sure. I called guest relations and explained to them that I am paid in full, but it says I owe money. They said it was a shore excursion problem! Transferred to shore excursions and after a 30 minute phone call, the issue is because of the latitudes tier change that happened this week. They are unable to do a work around to fix the problem (no, I don’t owe money) and we (everyone with same problem) needs to wait until the IT department fixes it. No ETA on when this will be fixed and it still might not be fixed by my sail date. *gasps*
Myvegas update!

Make sure you are playing ALL the myvegas games to get points. It’s not just pop slots.
You could cancel the cruise (must rebook) if you booked under the flexible cruising changes. You would have to cruise by end of March 2023 though. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/flexible-booking-changes
