I've not had any trouble using the app to book speciality dining. Recognises my credits from my premier package cancelling payment to $0 on final confirmation. It also brought to my attention I have credits available to apply when they were available.

Same here. I have about 10 or so still in good nick I use for shopping. Impressive sight to see when the trolley is full, and always turns a few heads in awe..😌

Just doing some math re should I or shouldn't I on an upcomming overseas Princess cruise (to/from LA), and was looking for confirmation as to whether gratuties will be included in the plus or premier package paying the AUD$ amount. I can see on the US site it's included in the list for the $60US p/day etc, but can't see it in the AUD $65 p/day. Found it fiendishly difficult looking for confirmation on this, as on most sites, reviews and threads all I can find tend to steer back to the "to/from Australia port inclusions for gratuties, or in some cases seem to be not quite accurate on the detail. Anyone actually put this to the test?

Yeah, my last 2 cruises of NZ and Aus, we bought bottles of wine onboard after purchasing during wine tours in 3 ports. Never blinked once on each occasion. Yet same thing in the carribbean, we had them taken and returned to us last night of the cruise (which was fine as we were staying on for 2 more cruises b2b2b 😁)

Would generally be true one would think, but like the OP, we found Majestic Princess overrun with kids for both our 2 week cruises the previous year around Xmas, with no where to relax and chill (holywood pool club used to be adults only at one point when we originally sailed on her, but not now) so opted for same cruise last Xmas 5 weeks ago on HAL. Very different experience. While I prefer the Royal class ships to the Vista class, there was next to no kids on HAL for the same cruise at the same time. So very much enjoyed my holiday alot more... Have been rotating around other lines again, and also had a more relaxing time without kids overrunning every square inch. Will probably stick to the other Royal ships that have a sanctuary and outdoor adults pool So have somewhere to go when I need it. But a shame as I liked the adults only indoor pool on Majestic when it was a thing.

Yes. I've cruised into Lyttleton on both HAL and Princess (Believe Mic was on on my most recent HAL into Lyttleton too if I'm not mistaken). Both were as per Mics comments. Only difference I noticed was HAL under quoted the last shuttle times by 30mins in their literature (to make sure noone misses last bus I guess) whereas princess didn't....last bus was last bus. You'll now as actual last shuttle times are written on the front of the bus.

Yeah, that is a shame. I remember on my first 2 cruises on the Majestic the Hollywood pool club and conservatory was an Adults only area. Very much liked having somewhere to go in lieu of no Sanctuary. Unfortunately on my last 2 cruises on the Majestic (B2B), they had opened it up to kids, and they totally overrun the place. Left us with no where to go to relax on deck. And was the main driver for us to booking other cruise lines again since. Getting back on Majestic in 90 days was hoping they had gone back to keeping the Hollywood pool club adults only. ☹️

SD bookings showing as AUD$ at my end. Current pricing is showing as $53 for catch by Rudi and Harmony, and $63 for Crown grill. Did another booking and was charged in AUD$ to my card as per prices above.

Yeah, noticed prices up a bit yesterday when on the medallion app....

Other than having to log out and log in for each booking, only glitch I can see is the package information purchased is set for US not AUS, so not quite accurate for this cruise, otherwise, not bad my end for round one.

Hi all, Just noted checking the port schedule that the Noordam is docked at white bay on the 10th Dec. Ahhhhh...I've had my usual at Rydges circular Quay booked all year. Silly me. Only docked at White Bay once, and that was disembarking a Ponant ship. What would be the the best way to get to White bay these days? I noticed certain roads are closed off these days and captain cook had a water shuttle that looks to be discontinued on some websites? Any suggestions welcome...thanks

Tried signing up on the Majestic a couple of weeks ago. Told not being offered. Assumed it had something to do with Covid and keeping passengers out of crew areas?? They also didn't do the Galley tour with the Chefs table.

Hi, if helps I noted at my end (Aussie) also on the Majestic soon for my B2B2B, that the Web based version of the app allows me to input additional information required where the phone version doesn't??? Ie: Upload section for the internatinal vaccination certificate and an Upload section for the RAT test photo or PCR. (Just note the rat test photo if that is you option the day before needs to include your passport page and proof of date/time in the photo [eg home screen of phone]).
