Favorite Family Thing to Do in Cozumel?

Hello, headed to Cozumel at the end of the month with my family (with kids ages 6, 11 and 13). My husband and I have been before many years ago and were not impressed.

We are open to any great excursion. Beach, ruins, jeep, anything that is amazing. We are pretty active people (though we have a 6 year old, so major hikes, etc we probably can't do yet) We prefer to not book through the cruise line (RCCL) but again are open to suggestions.

Take a taxi to one of the beach clubs on the southern end of island. Spend the day.

Chankanaab Marine park offers sea lion shows, options to swim with the dolphins, small beach and pool, separate snorkel area, nature trails, etc. Short (under $20) cab ride from the port for all 5 of you and adult admission is about $20 each. More expensive than the beach clubs, but offers much more to keep your kiddos entertained.

We have a group of 14, ages 3 to 75. We decided on Chankanaab. Hopefully it's enough variety told keep Everyone happy.

Have you gone yet? We are going and considering this as an option.. my kids are similar ages to yours and wondering what your experience was?

Going for the 1st time in a April 2019 . Had the same questions and EVERYONE I have asked has had nothing but good things to say about Mr. Sanchos
