Whitnee1 Posted May 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2018 I have done two Alaska Cruise Tours with Princess and stayed in their lodges in Denali and Mckinley. I want to book another for next summer and want to consider NCL. My question is has anyone done this and what were the land based accommodations. I have a couple of TA's that have recommended either Celebrity or Princess solely because of the land accommodations.

wilsonhold Posted May 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2018 We are booked this year on their 12 day train trip. Ncl says you are notified of accommodations 30 days out.. we are currently at 36 days out.. so if we are notified as advertised, we should know by next weekend.. of course every year may be at a different place. sue402001 Posted May 21, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 21, 2018 We did the Alyeska / Denali tour in 2013. In Anchorage we stayed at the Sheraton, Denali was the McKinley Village Lodge and the Alyeska Resort in Girdwood. Hope this helps!

Doing the 12 day Alyeska/ Denali tour next summer and due to airline schedules need to fly in at least one day before tour. Hoping to be able to stay in the same hotel as the NCL tour so we don't have to change rooms or hotels.
zqvol Posted May 22, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 22, 2018 We have stayed in the Sheraton Anchorage three times and all three times there were NCL groups staying there. This is over a period of five or six years so the Sheraton might be a good option.
