There are a number of off-port parking option in Canaveral with shuttle to/from ship, so no need to pay the higher port parking fees. It is probably $15/day.

It is $15 a day, and they add one day to the length of your cruise, so a parking for a 3 day cruise is $60. I don't even think they display a daily rate anymore.

With the numerous offsite options at Port Canaveral, there is no way I'd park at the port. I mean the extra day crap is straight nonsense. How on earth could I arrive Thursday at 12 noon for the 3 day Carnival Sensation, leave Sunday at 10 a.m. . . . and get charged 4 days, when I wasn't even parked for 72 hours (3 day total).

Offsite charges 4 days in that situation also, but atleast I'm only paying like $5.99 instead of $15.00.
