Magen's Bay Beach

Anyone who's been there have an update as to the condition? Do they now rent umbrellas as well as chairs if shade trees are gone?

HORRAY! Just what I was hoping to see! Going for the first time in Feb. Only concerned about loss of shade. It looks like if you go down aways there's still trees. Anyone been there that can give some tips?

Royal Caribbean helped out with clean up AND brought in new seagrape and palm trees. February is a LONG way off!

Feb. doesn't seem that long to me. They brought in big palm trees? The video just showed flags where they planned to plant trees.

They brought in pretty good sized trees. It has only been a little less than 3 months since Irma and the changes have been huge. In another two to three months, they will be incredible.:halo:

We live in St Thomas and made our first visit back to Magen's on Saturday. There was quite a bit of visible tree loss but also clear rebirth of green leaves on surviving trees. We could see many big palm trees ready to be planted. Water was lovely. People were few...really pleasant. And the bar they had relocated to a picnic shed normally used for rentals was great! Literally the best Painkillers ever & funny, top notch bartenders. We did rent an umbrella for shade. I think you will have a wonderful visit.
