Dancing on Westerdam

Did the dance floor in the Ocean Bar survive the dry dock? If so, is the music suitable for ballroom dancing? I know that HAL has really cut back on dancing opportunities, but it was still possible to dance in the Ocean Bar prior to the latest dry dock. Is this still true?

We are wondering the same thing. We love to do ballroom dancing before and after dinner. Is this still possible on the Westerdam and Osterdam?????

Just on the Oosterdam in Oct., not aware of any area for ballroom dancing. Only venue where we observed any dancing was BBKings shows, definitely not ballroom dancing. Ocean Bar had a piano player most nights between 5 and 7:45PM. We really missed that combo that used to play there.

CB, sorry, just to clarify, “The Band” that would gladly play ballroom music in the Ocean Bar is still on the newly renovated Westerdam?

I’m hoping so!

We are just off the Eurodam and the band played several evenings during the cocktail hour for dancing in the Ocean Bar.
