Dream Questions

We are booking the Dream for June sailing. What is the big difference between a large balcony and a balcony on the Dream? Is the difference worth it?

Does the Dream have the Italian rest like the Magic has?

Thanks for the help!:)

The suits have double the size balcony than a regular balcony, so you have to ask yourself is paying $500 more for a bigger balcony and a room with a make up area between the hall and bathroom worth it? We thought so last year but really didn't hang out in the balcony, just when coming into port. We moved to regular balcony this year and saved money. Cove balconies can be nice I hear but I've never had one .

Thanks on the pasta bar. .

I'm not a huge pasta eater... So I just did a bowl of veggies and seafood... think I had them add the alfredo sauce.

the pasta bar is upstairs ... I think not everyone knows about it.

Is there a sports bar on the Dream?? And if so where is it??

No, you're stucking watching sports in the Casino Bar. If it's a big game they may show it on the Lido Deck, like in the picture, Oklahoma vs. Alabama. Oooh, just noticed, you can see our "Yard of Beer" on the right side of the picture :)

Seems very odd to me too. The Dream is nice but it doesn't have all the features like the Sunshine.

Doesn't matter to me. Dream is still the best ship in the fleet, imo. She may not have gotten branded name things, but she will still have those things. My burrito may not have a lizard above it, but it's still good. The place that shows sports may not be branded as a sports bar, but it's still basically the same thing.

The Dream has nothing remotly close to a sports bar. It has the Casino bar with a few bar stools and some TV's tuned to sports. Then behind that a little sitting area where you may or may not be able to see the TV's behind the bar depending on who is standing in front of you.

Last cruise I took a chair from the coffee bar area and carried it down the hall to the casino bar. Others were taking stools from the Casino to sit.

Guy's burgers are much better...for those care.

The Dream is a good ship but there are a few things missing that would make it better.

Some of the "Large" balconies are quite a big larger and some cabins have the "L" shape that many really like. If it isn't a budget breaker and if the location is good I would go for the larger balcony. I spend a lot of time on mine. If you don't use it that much then I wouldn't spend the extra for it.
