jeanlyon Posted October 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2017 We are going to take the train from Livorno to Pisa which is only about 20 minutes, but I wonder if anyone can remind me how to get to the train station in Livorno. We have done this before a few years ago to Lucca, but I must have lost my info. Do I really need a taxi from the port gate to the station? jasperado Posted October 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2017 (edited) Hi Jean Tom's Port Guides cover Livorno. I always find them invaluable for getting info for DIYing. His guide was written in 2013, I dont know if it will be current though, he gives details of buses to the railway station. :) Edited October 16, 2017 by jasperado
Mewat Posted October 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2017 We did this several years ago and caught the local bus to the train station. Haven't got a clue what number it was, but there were a lot of people doing the same thing. Seem to remember we had to buy the bus tickets in a little newsagents shop.
