Rare PrincessArlena'sDad Posted January 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2018 This will be in August, with Carnival, in port at Freeport from 7 am to 1:30 pm. We are 2 adults, a teen, 6, and 9 yr old. Our other two ports are HMC and Grand Turk. We booked a poolside cabana at Grand Turk, so that is two beach days (I'd cancel the poolside cabana at Grand turk if we find something else). So, we want to do something in Freeport that is not beach oriented. The two excursions I'm looking at are: Freeport Kayak and Nature Experience. Wife and I have done this before and loved it, and know kids will like it. See and Sea: National Park and Shark Junction. This is apparently a new excursion with Carnival; there are no reviews yet. It goes to Rand Nature Center, and then a glass bottom boat ride to Shark Junction. Total tour time is 4 hours. Also open to other ideas. Thanks! Ditto! Except ours is Feb/March and I won't have a video. I've also heard good things about snorkeling in Freeport. Deadman's reef I think? Nevada Jen Posted January 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 19, 2018 Can't go wrong with the Kayak and Nature Experience although we did end up with a pretty good amount of time at the beach. I have the feeling I will never find another Carnival excursion better than that one. I seem to vaguely recall people complaining about the Sea and See excursion at dinner that night. Hopefully someone who has actually done it will speak up.
