saraet4464 Posted July 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2017 Next March my husband and I will be sailing on the Vista. This is our first time on Carnival and we are looking at the Cheers package. Like many other posters, I am trying to figure out if the ease of the program is worth it. I do not plan on drinking five or more alcoholic drinks a day, but I do like my coffee and I drink a lot of water. Where would I get the "specialty coffees." I normally cruise with RCCL and get my coffee in the MDR or Windjammer (the Lido on Carnival). I have never gotten the drink package so I only drank the coffee from the drink dispensers and I really do prefer a higher quality coffee. Can I get specialty coffee in the main dining room and or Lido cafe or do I need to go to a special coffee shop? Also, is the specialty coffee just fancy coffee drinks like lattes or cappuccinos, or just a good old fashioned cup of Colombian or other wonderful coffee country coffee? RHilla619 Posted July 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Speciality Coffee can be found at Java Blue which is their coffee bar, some ships have a second smaller Java Blue inside the Lido Buffet so you don't have to go two separate places in the morning. Java Blue is a espresso based coffee, so lattes/cappuccinos/etc. You can also get these specialty coffees in the dining room after dinner or anywhere else they have an espresso machine like the casino bar. saraet4464 Posted July 15, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Thank you for all of the information and especially the menu. I was hoping for more basic coffee choices, but I will enjoy the choices offered. My husband will love the coffee with the Jameson whiskey. 😀 Sent from my SM-T810 using Forums mobile app
