Albertacruisers55 Posted January 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2018 We sail aboard the Harmony of The Seas Feb-17 and when we return on the 24th we board the Independence of The Seas. My question what is the best way to get from Docking station 18 to say Pier 29 at Port Everglades. I am thinking maybe the only way would be getting the Pier Parking Shuttle. I don't know what berth they are using so hope that maybe somebody here does. I contacted RCCL and no help from them. Gerald.
easyboy Posted January 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2018 You can also cross post on the Florida Departures board for possible response on terminal berth transfers. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=495 Sent from my iPhone using Forums

There have been reports of some sort of crew shuttle that guests can use.
capriccio Posted January 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2018 There is also a shuttle from the midport garage, very close to terminal 18 (on the east side of terminal 19) to terminal 29 since there is no parking available at terminal 29. Call the garage concessionaire for more information: SP Parking at: 954-468-3680. See the Port Everglades website (http://www.porteverglades.net) for a map of the port. Bonnie J. Posted January 12, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 12, 2018 When we went from one Carnival ship to another someone from Guest Services walked us from one Carnival ship to another. (He couldn't touch our bags for us until we got to the street- porters would have a complaint if he did and create a problem for the guy!) Next time we went from Carnival to RCCL. We were escorted to a cab. It cost $25 to get to RCCL. We think the cabbie took a very long way to get to RCCL!

We get off the jazz cruise (Celebrity Summitt) the same day as we embark on Princess. What do you do for several hours before boarding the next ship? capriccio Posted January 27, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 27, 2018 Thanks for the info. We get off the jazz cruise (Celebrity Summitt) the same day as we embark on Princess. What do you do for several hours before boarding the next ship? Ann I would be one of the last off the Celebrity cruise (10 am?) and be one of the first on the Princess cruise. They usually start check-in by 11 am and boarding starts by noon (although I've read of some boarding starting shortly after 11 am this season). Normally on Princess your cabin is ready when you board so drop off your carry-on and start your cruise! One MDR will also be open from noon to 1:30 if you prefer to avoid the buffet crowds.
