Car hire in Barcelona

Is there a car rental facility close to the port that is open on Sundays?

I have looked at a few city centre locations with Europcar and they are all closed Sunday! I didn't really want to go out to the airport to pick up a car......any recommendations welcomed.

Just in case anyone else is wondering....I booked with Sixt at Sants train station. It looked like Avis also had a facility that was open on Sundays too. But pretty limited selection.

How far is that from where Epic docks at port? Is it walkable? Any issues and did you feel safe driving in a foreign country? We are considering renting a car because of the high price of many of these excursions. Was it hard to find safe places to park?
