Family Suite

We are considering booking a Family Suite for a cruise. It would be for three persons. The cabins don't have a balcony.

My questions.:

1) How good is the sleeping arrangement for the third person in the suite?

2) Even though the cabin is large, do you miss the balcony?

3) The cabins are at the bow (front) of the ship. Anyone have any motion difficulties?

Which cabins?

The term Family Suite means different things on different ships.

I'm assuming he means the Dawn, because the SJ suites are the ones at the front with no balcony.

No experience, but have fun!

The specific ship that I was asking about was the Dawn, but the Star is a Dawn class and has the same cabin configuration.

We stayed 6 adults for a girls weekend!! Each bed area had curtains to give privacy! We all loved ceiling to floor windows!

Had 4 adults in one on the Star. If you don't have to move the dining table and chairs there will be plenty of room. Didn't miss the balcony because you are just down the hall to the pool deck. Didn't have a problem finding a seat there. Also like heading down to the promenade deck, usually deck 7. I like being closer to the water. There are chairs scattered around that deck.
