Shop Hours and things to do near port early in the morning in Grand Cayman?

Our Carnival ship arrives at 7 AM. We have Faster to the Fun so we have Priority tendering. Our Excursion isn't until 9:15. Would there be anything to do around the port from 7 AM - 9 AM? Are shops open or is there anything else to do? I am just wondering if it is even worth it to get off the ship that early.

ON one of our cruises several years ago we arrived that early and most of the shops were closed. There were some open stalls/shops right when you get off the tender. I would have a relaxing breakfast and then do your excursion.

We get off early.

We love to walk around the town and also when we get to the tender pier we make a right and walk for about a mile or two.

If you like to walk it is just fun to get out and about before the town gets flooded with cruise ship passengers and others staying there who wake up.

You will see restaurants open early and places to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee and whatever other breakfast items you want.

Most of the shops won't be open that early...so enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the ship, and head to the tenders when you're ready! No need to rush!

You can tour Camana Bay, but not many shops will be open but it's a gorgeous development. You can also take a morning stroll along 7 Mile Beach. It takes about 50 minutes to walk from the Royal Palms to the Seafire.
