Barcelona-Athens Oct 1st Question

Hi,

I'm confused.....When is the ship arriving in Athens? On oct 10th in the morning? If so, why the debarkation is on the 11th?

Or I'm missimg something...

Whoever can clarify will be welcomed

we are on that sailing and can confirm that we dock around 8am on the 10th.

We have the day and over night on board before we have to disembark on the 11th.

Allows us to see Athens before we have to get off.

Some on the Roll call are disembarking early and have flights booked for that day rather than waiting till the 11th to go home.

Us we have flights on the 11th.

Join us on the roll call we are friendly bunch.

According to Carnival, it arrives at 8:00 AM in Athens and stays overnight.

Quite sure I have read threads where some have posted they are getting off on the 1st day in port.

Just off the Vista (last week) in Athens. We were a little late docking in Athens on the 18th of July (port traffic). We were on the Vista overnight and disembarked on the 19th.

We noticed a few folks leaving on the 18th.

One could return to the Vista on the evening of the 18th whenever desired and disembark really early on the 19th if necessary (pre 7 a.m.).

We disembarked about 8:15 a.m. without delay.

We are that sailing and are leaving on the 10th we are heading to the Plaka for lunch and then to the airport for our flight to London later that evening.
