Question we will be boarding next November and we are both Platinum. One in our party is not Platinum. Will they be allowed to board with us or will they need the FTTF ? Has anyone experienced this before?

If they are on the same reservation, unless you are in the same cabin with them, they will not be able to board with you (I know from experience). If they are on a separate reservation, also no. If they get FTTF, they will still won't be able to board with you, they will be the next group after you. However, they would have access to their cabin, they would not without FTTF.
