Dining room dress on Xpedition

I am always amused by the passionate discussion about appropriate dining room and evening dress, but as I am preparing for a June Galapagos cruise on Xpedition, can anyone who might have experienced it comment on what sort of dress is typical in the dining room? Is it a bit more relaxed, because of the nature of the cruise? Thanks.

We did the 7 day Inner Loop itinerary and there were very few people who 'dressed for dinner". These are expedition ships and you're limited on the amount of luggage you can take on the plane - so nobody wore anything more dressy than colored shirts and khakis for men and a sun dress or capris for women. Most people wore the same type of clothing for the entire cruise. Hope this helps-

On Xpediton?!? When was that? Was casual every night when I sailed. Very few people dressed smart casual - most I would speculate only packed casual clothing. OP - what I experienced on Xpedition at dinner is about what you'd expect people to wear to the buffet for lunch on a normal Celebrity ship.

The onboard paper says shorts for men and MAYBE a polo shirt. On our 3-26-17 sailing most people just changed shirts and wore sandals

Dress casually and comfortably for dinner (but remember your clothes should be in good taste).

By the Way, one of the very best cruises I have ever taken (and I have cruised 55 times). I would go back in a heartbeat!
