When on an Alaskan cruise, specifically the Carnival Legend, would the port arrival and departure times be PST or Alaskan time? I know on most Caribbean cruises I have been on they always stay on port time but the excursion operator said there they will go by Alaskan time. And while I think she knows more than I do because she works with cruise ships on a daily basis and they make a lot of money that way, my boyfriend is a little worried.

Anyone know?

Carnival does go to local times. Sailing out of Seattle you will go 1 hour back before your first port. Then go forward an hour, before you last port day in Victoria.

IF there happens, to be a change with Carnival, it won't be any secret, so just go back an hour with your Alaska tours, compared to the unchanged ship time. But= highly doubtful it would ever happen.
