Wind Surf vs Wind Star cabin category?

I know this is a rather subjective question but looking for experienced guests thoughts. We sailed on Wind Star last spring in Cat BX on deck one. We liked the mid-ship location but the stairs (being narrow) were a bit of a pain. Not a deal breaker. On Wind Surf, BX is down even another flight from the main deck. So is it worth the $ to go up to deck 2 (A or AX)? I know everyone's pain threshold is different when it comes to finances! Just trying to weigh the value from past guests experiences to decide. Thanks!

We were in the BX categories on Wind Spirit and Wind Surf. The only thing to remember is there are times when the water doors are closed and the only way to get to your room on the Surf in the BX category is to use the stairs. We didn't have any issues.
