flight from FLL disembark POM

My wife and I arrive at port on Monday at 8AM. We have a 1:00 flight out of FLL. Plan on taxi. Is this doable. Thanks.

I would suggest methods other than taxi, which is one of the more expensive methods. Uber/Lyft and shuttles are cheaper, and would work just fine.

Last year our ship arrival was delayed until 8am. We picked self disembarkation and took taxi outside and at airport by 9:15 for our noon flight. Nothing is guaranteed if the ship is late though (ours was for a medical issue but Captain tried to get our arrival on time-he was close!)

Several shared shuttles will get you from POM to FLL for about $15 per person - SAS, QLS and Go Airport are often suggested. UberX or standard Lyft should be about $35+ for the car
