BMW Factory Tour

I've read about taking the BMW Factory Tour as an excursion. This isn't an option on my cruise (Dec 2, Nuremberg to Budapest, on the Viking Egil) and I am considering booking it privately for while we are in Regensburg (which is easily done through their website.)

Has anyone done this? Any advice?

I'e been on a BMW factory tour but not the one in Regensburg. Those who have done it thought it was good.

The tour was an option on our Uniworld cruise. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I don't own a BMW. Be prepared to do a lot of walking...the place is huge.

I believe the factory has suspended tours until 2018.

I have corresponded with them and an English tour is possible.

Ahh! I stand corrected. I was looking at the BMW North American site. Sorry for any confusion. BTW, have you been able to determine how long the tour is?

We have done the tour three times, its about two hours.
