Wheelchair assistance at embarkation port

For the 1st time my Mom will need some help getting on the ship in San Francisco. Do I need to let Princess or my TA know ahead of time or do we just get in the assistance line outside the port?

Don’t know about SF but they are great in Ft Lauderdale. My wife had knee replacement and we were on board by 11:30. They whisked us through. Super nice people and very helpful!
