Taking drinks onboard RCL in Sydney

Recommended Posts

Theoretically you can only take 1 bottle of wine per person on RCI ...

... However we took a slab of bottled water on our March cruise. I just stuck luggage labels on it and most of it (minus one bottle) ended up with the rest of our luggage in the foyer nearest our cabin - for some reason they didn't place the luggage outside or in our cabin.

Not sure about soft drinks though.

For the loading process they sometimes have one group delivering the luggage to the foyers, then take them separately to individual cabins. It may have been that you found it before it had reached your cabin.

As for the soft drink, officially, and usually no. But sometimes they get through.

We spotted it when we were leaving our cabin to explore the ship, and it was still there when we came back an hour or so later. Not a big problem except someone helped themselves to one of our water bottles in the interim.
