Tin Posted June 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2018 Planning for a cruise next year and was wondering, When I check the the pricing for this summer, some of the cruise shown as free for Kids (age 3 and 1). However, when I go to next year, most if not all the one in the summer have a charge to it. I noticed that in the fine print section it said select cruise. So I'm wondering if kids cruise free are only offer during the slower season?

floridian1 Posted June 20, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 20, 2018 Could it be the port fees and tax you see being charged for the kids?
Abaddon Posted June 20, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 20, 2018 Directly from the MSC website Children 11 and under at time of sailing cruise free on select sailings. Kids must sail as 3rd/4th guests when sharing a stateroom with 2 full-fare paying adults to qualify to cruise for free. Charges that apply (where applicable) for kids cruise free are taxes and port dues, flights and transfer fees, and add-ons. Children from 12 - 17 years of age at the time of sailing travelling in a stateroom with two full fare-paying adults do not pay the cruise fare on select sailings in low and mid-season; they may pay the cruise fare in high season. This offer is subject to limited availability and must be reconfirmed at the time of booking. They must still pay taxes and port duties, insurance, flights and transfers (where applicable). Tin Posted June 21, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted June 21, 2018 (edited) after calling MSC, they said that there will be charges for my kid that is 3 years old, but not the one that is under 2. Looks like they changed the policy starting this summer. Edited June 21, 2018 by Tin
