OK to bring hair dyers?

I know there is a hair dryer in the room, I use it. My friend wants to bring her own. Are they allowed? Thank-you

Hair dryers are allowed, along with hair straighteners and curling irons.

Thank-you. I do bring my curling iron. I was not sure about the hair dryer since theirs seems to be plugged into a draw, thought it might have a special plug or something.

I've brought my own after my first cruise and the one provided in my stateroom had horrible power and it took me twice as long to dry my long hair. After that experience, I simply bring my own on board and I know I'm good.

There are other plugs for you to use!!

This is the first cruise when I will bring my own hair dryer. I found a good travel size one with the same power as the one I use all the time.

I got tired of holding in the button on the hair dryer in the cabin so it would work. The hair dryer could have been stronger, too.

I always take a blow dryer and also a extension cord around 6 or 9 ft. I plug it in the outlet in the room and dry my hair in the bathroom. This way everyone in the room can sleep without hearing the blast of the dryer.

I'm pretty sure there are no outlets that will fit the blow dryer plug in the bathroom.
