Progreso Pharmacy?

Does anyone know of a good pharmacy in Progreso? I always try to get Retin-A creme (no lectures, I have an RX for it) but last time I was in Coz it cost almost as much as it does in the US. Wondering if there might be places to purchase in Progreso.

There are a gazillion pharmacies in Progreso, the more established ones are:

Farmacias Canto

Farmacias YZA

Farmacia del Comercio

Farmacia del Ahorro

Mr. Lawson are any of these places close enough to walk to from where the bus lets you off from the cruise ship? Funny because I've been to Progreso several times and have never noticed any pharmacies.

You may need to walk a few blocks into town, away from the beach. They are there - just look for the FARMACIA signs. Nothing on the beach or close to it. Ask a policeman DONDE ESTA UNA FARMACIA and he should point you in the right direction!

Mr. Lawson, could you give an updated list of good pharmacy's in Progresso. Also, what city has the best pharmacy's and prices? Progresso or Cozumel?

A simple Google search.

There is one at the port that we used last yr. As soon as you walk thru the first big, enclosed shop, it will be one of the first shops on the left outside.

The one we use is in the open air market that you must walk thru to get on the bus to take you down the pier to town. Will be on the left as you enter the shops.
