culvercitycruiser Posted November 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2017 hello, We will be on the Ruby Princess on January 6, 2018 and we are looking for the dinner menus if anyone going soon can post. We want to book a dinner in the Grill and do not want to book a night when they have something in the MDR that we want to eat. In the past, we have gotten scans from another amazing Cruise Critic member and we were happy that we did. Some nights are busier than others and would like to make reservations Thanks so much for any menu replies Christie

cruising deacon Posted November 25, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 25, 2017 We recently got off of the Ruby, ate all but one evening in the MDR, we felt it was GREAT. (sorry no menus) The other evening we ate in the Crown Grill, it was highly overrated, should have eaten in the MDR.

culvercitycruiser Posted January 17, 2018 Author #13 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Spring rolls - crispy and tasty Prime rib - sorry. I cut a piece and then realized I had not taken a photo. It did look prettier before I began my carvings. Some nights I just plain forgot to take the photos of the menus. Sorry Sent from my iPad using Forums
culvercitycruiser Posted January 17, 2018 Author #14 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Eggs Benny - not fabulous. I am a sauce person. It was a bit too dry for me. I also do not like pig so I got mine free of the pig. Sent from my iPad using Forums

jlp20 Posted March 17, 2018 #21 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Princess has "set" menus that are interchangable cruise to cruise depending on the availability of the raw ingredents. Rather hard to serve scallops if they are never delivered to the ship. Several days before YOUR cruise, menus are verified and the order those mealswill be served. On embarkation day, you can watch supplies being loaded IN ORDER onto the ship. Now as to the original question, if you go to the desk MDR and ask politely, they will produce a three ring binder with the menus in order for the entire cruise. If your planning on going to specialty restaurant, this knowledge is very helpful in choosing which night to go.
Alexxa Posted March 17, 2018 #22 Share Posted March 17, 2018 We just got off the Ruby, 3/3/18 cruise Club Class, and had most of the items pictured and they were very tasty. Thanks for the pics. Sent from my iPad using Forums
SmedonSeas Posted March 20, 2018 #23 Share Posted March 20, 2018 :) Thanks for the pics! This is great. I'm wondering about the Premium Coffee Cards and whether they now have an expiration date.

Wow, that is very interesting that they will share menus ahead for you...however, after cruising many times on the west coast we have found the menus to be almost exactly the same since 2015...only difference is in quality, the omission of the best items, and lack of interest of the dining staff due to the same old thing being served cruise after cruise. Yes they have set menus...I know them by heart now and that is not good for frequent Princess cruisers...I'm ready for a new experience after getting off the Ruby March 10th-17th. I'm very disappointed and totally bored with their menus...
CruiseGal999 Posted March 22, 2018 #25 Share Posted March 22, 2018 I loved seeing the menus and photos. NOW I'm hungry!! And it's really late at night here. : ?
