Question about twin bed placement in a mini-suite

My husband has some minor mobility issues so the mini-suites we always book give him more room. We do twin beds which allows him to use either side to get out of bed. Last cruise he found the bed layout to be a bit restrictive. Anyone know if it's possible to put both bedside tables together, with the twin beds on either side?

I believe the one night stand is an integral part of the desk support., so cannot be moved. But if it could, you would have the bed flush against the desk and not be able to sit there, and so much decrease the passage into the sitting area that you might not be able to get through. EM
