Courtyard Marriott Prague Airport vs Prague City

We have a quick short trip to Prague: 3 days/2 nights.

Day 1: Our flight arrives early. I am also considering an overnight train from Krakow to Prague. Check into hotel and walk around Prague

Day 2: Prague Castle

Day 3: 650AM flight from Prague back to US

Because of our early flight back to US, I am leaning towards staying at a hotel at the airport. However, logistically, I do not know if it makes sense since we we want to visit Prague Castle.

I am considering the Courtyard Marriott at Prague Airport or Prague City.

How easy/difficult is it to go from airport to city center for day trips?

I mapped the hotel locations and noticed Marriott Prague City is a bit ways out. I found other hotels along the Danube and near the Charles Bridge.

So the question now is whether to stay at the airport or a hotel along the Danube/Charles Bridge area.

So, the Danube does not go through Prague.

Anyway, I would stay in town. There is just so much to see besides the Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle. I would recommend just getting a taxi (pre-negotiated fare) for the early morning trip to the airport.

Yep! That's what I get for multi-tasking! We will visit Prague, Krakow and Budapest....

By "in town" is that in Old Town square area?

I found a located near Hemingway Bar. Is that too far?

Also - if we arrive via overnight train, does that stop at the Main Station?

By in town I would go a little further than the Old Town Square. Anywhere between there and the river.
