silhouette 6305

Can anyone advise me? I am looking at Silhouette 6305 which has a good size balcony, but am concerned that there is a large white metal overhang which would make the balcony very dark.

I have looked at Library Lady's excellent spreadsheet but would welcome some guidance from anyone that has had that cabin.

Can only give you my personal view having stayed in 6304 a couple of times (same cabin, other side) and I love it. Balcony is sheltered, more so because there is a solid wall to one side, but to me it's not dark and of course depends which way the sun is shining. Having done a few different cabins on the S-Class ships, it is my favourite standard stateroom.

Thank you so much Phil. We have had 6300 on Eclipse some years ago and really enjoyed the quiet area and long walks everywhere to 'keep fit' that the chance of a similar cabin plus larger balcony was an obvious choice - until I found that photo!!

I don't suppose you have any pictures of the balcony?

cruisedeckplans.com has pictures of that cabin on every ship, even a youtube video on one. Cabin number is different on Equinox, Solstice, Eclipse, but location is the same. Might be time to join and enjoy the view. EM
