Tampa Disembarkation

Hi everyone! My husband and I will be on the Norwegian Dawn out of Tampa on 2/18. We get back to Tampa on 2/25 at 8:00 am, and I am looking at flights home. There is one at 12:12 pm that looks good. Does anyone know how disembarkation is in Tampa? We’ve always gotten off the ship very quickly (we carry our luggage off), but I’m not sure how quick Tampa is and how long it would take to get back to the airport. Thanks!

The airport is 15-20 minutes away by taxi, flat rate $25. You should have no problem if you carry off your own bags.

I would be very cautious about this because of the issue of Fog.

You might make it or you might find that the ship does not make it into port at time.

If this was me I would not book a flight this early. I would look for something closer to 2:00 PM.

If you are going to Cuba it takes a long time to get thru security

Unless there is a delay due to fog (occurs mostly in Jan-Mar :eek: ) you should be fine - as mentioned above the TPA airport is a 15 or so min cab/Uber ride from the port. Flat rate cab fare is $25 :)
