Prinsendam smoking area

Would someone who has recently been on the Prinsendam answer this question for me? We took an Amazon cruise on the Prinsendam 3 years ago, and smoking was allowed in the forward port area of the Lido area. Does it still exist there?

We are thinking of a European cruise, and the exposed extreme aft area may be too cold for us.

You mean near the entry to the forward stairs like this:

This was taken on the Transatlantic that ended November 18.

At times the shrubs and the smoking area may be moved to starboard if they are buffing the floor or some other work.

That smoking area has been there for ages, yet the Seaview Bar, port side, and the casino are the only places listed as smoking areas on the Holland America website.

That's right. It was in the same spot on my Amazon cruise.

Rafinmd, (or anyone else on that sailing) was it chilly on deck during your Transatlantic crossing in November? I am thinking about the eastbound crossing in the southern Atlantic in March.

FWIW, and although not the Prinsendam, the smoking area on Oosterdam during our cruise in October was at the Seaview Bar area, Starboard side.

Not chilly but primarily not pool weather. High first hit 75 the second day out of Funchal. (don't forget, Prinsendam's pools have no roof)
