Equinox S1 or Edge Sunset Verandah for this December

The price is the same for both cabins and we just can't decide. We are traveling with our adult Son and know that the suite is bigger and the perks of Concierge are fantastic but wonder if we will kick ourselves not going on the EDGE. Final deposit is tomorrow and we still go back and forth. Also know that Equinox is going in for a renovation this year so wondering on the shape of the ship...We mostly do RCCL but wanted to change it up a little.

Just off the Equinox 3 weeks ago and the ship is in great shape with a great crew. The S1 suites are great.

The Edge is an unknown and we are booked on it in January and purposely did not book one of the first few sailing. We were on the 3rd sailing of a new ship a few years ago and it was fun but there were things still be finished, lots of little kinks in service with crew that were still learning the ship.

Hard choice.

Sunset Verandas are hard to come by..We have one booked for 2019..never tried one before. Large outdoor balc, larger stateroom but will be a long walk for most spots on the ship..

Equinox is a great ship..but maybe your son would love all the cool stuff planned for EDGE...lots of energy, hi tech..
